I posted this in the wrong forum the first time..sorry!
Is anyone getting togueter the night before the trackday? I mean, is there anything going on somewhere? I think some people are going to the pool at the red roof inn around 9pm, but I'd like to know if there's anything ELSE going on?![]()

What's better than hangin' by the pool?

You have to drive right by the red roof to get to the track so you should stop in.
FYI. I strongly DISCOURAGE heavy alcohol consumption before Track Day... as it increases the effects of dehydration.
For the same reason, I strongly ENCOURAGE people to start hydrating a couple of days before track day. At least hit the minimum of 8 glasses of water per day to ensure you don't start the day already depleted.

No worry about heavy alcohol drinking with me...I'm getting too old for that I think...lolIf everyone is going to the pool, that's where I'll go but I was thinking more about a nice outside terrasse with a cold drink. Even a fire camp would have been awsome...lol (guess there's no place to do that around there tho?) If anyone is doing something like that, let me know!

Downtown Concord has some places but most people seem to hang close to the track and hit the sack early.

I'll probably go over to Makris (close to the hotel) for a couple of EARLY beers.

Degsy, that's cool! I'm assuming I'll meet with SprintPoser when I get there. Where is that place? Is it on the same street as the hotel? :: I'll try to be there around 9PM. I'd like to go to sleep early to get plenty of rest for the track. I'll be already tired of doing the road to get up there anyway(3 hours....)

Makris is on the right just after you turn on to rt106 about 3 miles before the hotel.
