What's the problem with people saying they're overpriced? They ARE! Good for them if they can pull it off. And they seemingly do. But it's only to a certain crowd from what I've seen...
I love it when people jump on someone when they say someone's overpricing their shit. It's okay for them to lean a bit heavy on their markups, but not okay for someone to point that out? Gimme a break...

i don't think that charging msrp on the stuff they sell is ripping people off.

As I said before, charge whatever you like...it's my option to buy. Maybe I just don't have the disposable income of some weekend warrior on a BMW going through his mid-life crisis. I was simply stating something I observe there every time I visit. I give them a couple things, the customer service is great and you really feel the passion for the sport when you strike up a conversation with anyone @ MM.

Rev'It is shit. Falls apart w/o provocation. Prolly fine for most MV riders though.

I rode down with my friend Paula, 2up, we left about 9am, it was 25° but it was over 50° by the time we got there at 10:30,
we hung out till almost 1, then went off for a ride out 119 & 123 to rt 9 then back home thru Concord
it was a great day to go riding
MotoMarket is a bricks & mortar store, expect to pay retain, but you can touch & feel your product before you buy it
I don't have time to search internet for cheapest price by a nickel, then order the item only to find out it isn't what I expected or wrong size , by the time I get what I want, I've waited 3 weeks instead of having it now, and the value of the time I lost fucking around is worth more than what I saved by buying over the internet
the only Fucking rip off... is the Massachusetts sales tax

It is a business and it is getting harder and harder to
keep a business going in the internet age.
There are times where you got to think about supporting
local merchants cause when they are all gone, you will
be at the mercy of a faceless internet merchant and they
do carry their own type of horror stories.
Most of my gear is Dainese and MotoGP.
I got some from Paul and paid full price and I got some
of the Dainese from fleabay and internet closeouts.
The MotoGP stuff was all purchased from Plaistow and
the prices were within 20 bucks or so of internet pricing
when shipping was factored in.
Bottom line, there is nothing like a store where you can
try things on and make a good decision on size.
I have a hard time believing that Paul is getting rich off
of the profits he is making on that store. He definitely is
not driving a Mercedes and certainly does not have a
half dozen Ducati's in his stable.

internet sure makes business competitive. local biz just have to use it to stay competitive. i use to buy car parts from dealers in FL because they have great price and good internet service. they probly suck for local service but they were giving 10-20% discount for the forum members. some guy from the forum recommended it. im sure they have lots of business locally too. dealers around here were much more and they suck. :dunno:
wish i know how to run business.

I bought my Gerbings from MotoMarket and was pleased with the customer service and the friendly attitude of the guy there.
I got to try it on which was good because they run big.
Other than that not much to say.

If the prices are ridiculous I don't buy, but I'm willing to pay a little extra to be able to try stuff on (it sucks to order over the internet and have to return stuff).
They spent a half hour with me trying on helmets. I could have bought cheaper on the internet, but their time/knowledge is worth something.
My helmet is the only thing I bought there, but I felt is was worth the couple of extra bucks.

I gotta give props to Allan and Paul for really knowing and explaining everything about helmets to me over the summer....from safety to comfort.
I didn't know all the Arai models were shaped different, I definately would of bought the wrong shaped helmet online.
Their prices are high, but I don't know of another place that carries all high end gear for racing and riding like they do.
All the crap in dealerships for the most part isn not high end.....except maybe helmets. A lot of dealers do carry Arai and Shoei.
Regardless I like the place and like going there to hang out and meet up for a ride from time to time.
