Foolish to say the least. like I said on V's ride... groups of 10 work... groups of fuckin 37 don't.

Yeah, but wasn't it fun being in the "slow" group guys?
did i really say "slow" when I said I would lead a group?
I think I meant to say "slowwww...er than race pace"![]()

the start time on grouprider says 9:30am, may want to change that. BTW I'm in as long as someone is willing to adjust their vacation.
Dave count me out of this one, I tried to remove my name from grouprider but couldn't figure out how. Have a great ride and keep it shinny side up

DucDave....have you been to evans notch lately? In the recent rain storms from a few weeks ago, there was washouts / land slides on RT 113 in Evans Notch. I had forgotten about that, but when mentioning this ride to a friend he reminded me.
Sucks because I was over there not too long ago, I could have, if I had known, done some recon and checked 113 out to see what kind of shape it was in.
edit...apparently a 40 foot bridge was also washed out.
Not sure what I am doing in the coming weeks but I could always ride over and take a peek.
yea no jinxing, you guys have a decent ride set up here![]()
Yep...was aware of this and have changed my route as indicated in the first message of this thread...
If you do check it out and it is opened thenROUTE -
The current route on Group Rider is broken into 3 pieces due to technical limitations of your leader...me! Doesn't matter though since the Evans Notch section doesn't apply anymore anyway! I expect to take the posted route across Hurricane Mountain. At this point I plan to run Hurricane Mountain back west then take 16 north to Mt. Washington. If the weather is good we can ride to the summit. If not continue north to Rt. 2 west. Then 115S to Rt. 3 South. At Franconia Notch we'll see how folks feel. Some may decide to slab 93 home. I may continue the lead to North Woodstock and 112/118 west and south to Canaan and Rt. 4. From there I will head home....
yeehaw...back to the original ride!

doh I missed that
It is a sweet ride up through the notch though, excellent scenery and so on. I have a PTO day tuesday, maybe if I get back early enough I can go on a recon ride.
i rode 113 last weekend... it was all there
