Anyone/Anyone???
The hooters post may be the ride! But if not I plan on going for a ride leaving Metro West (Framingham, or Marlboro) around 9 or 10. Majority rules.
How does a ride to sky Cycles sound? If they are open....

You know how I love to dig up the past!!!
Almost ten years ago, remember when........
I would have gone back little further but that would have brought us back the Chuck Cafarelli having to defend a law suit or some shit! So I picked two OLD standard members Mike and Sean.
You got to admit ten years ago it was even better only we did not know it then...less cares, less responsabilities, less work commitments we could ride ALL WEEKEND long and have to answer to nobody or nothing!!
Guess I'm just longing to get out on the bike!

we had a blast, although most of the good rides were the hooky rides (mid week) or epic camp meade rides.
imho: today is even better, although the days of us riding on pavement the way we did on sportbikes is a time gone by.
i have no desire to even ride a sportbike on pavement anymore.
for me it time for the next thing adv riding.
were dooing the samething as before with a little less speed, but just as much fun with some camping mixed in.

I have a lot more fun on my klr650 breaking it free on a dirt road at 50 mpg in a corner than I ever did on my sport bikes at 100+ , I was just talking with the wife yesterday that the camp fire stories after a day in the dirt are far better than any of the stories we had on street rides.
Don't get me wrong , we had some fun , and the camp meade rides were epic , but the ADV stuff we have done lately have been far more memorable .
I am not saying that I will never own a street only bike , but the ADV world has my full attention at least for the forseable future.
I get bored on pavement only , its the sense of adventure that you get from changing up the surface , from paved , to dirt to trail etc .
