I'm going to be in Troy, NY this weekend and have a few hours Saturday morning to get out for a ride. It's only a couple of hours and I'm attending the Lee Parks school in the afternoon, so don't want to wear my self out.
Anyone know of a good road(s) in the area so I can do a short ride?
The last time NESRians went any where near Troy Ny this guy and one other rider crashed out.

It's probably too late but if your ever in the area again or for members reference: Rt2 which is just NE of Troy off 7 N, to the Mass border. Very good. Good carves and surface, relatively low population density.
Murphy says you'll catch up to Granma just before the Twisty sign.
I got out for a bit Saturday morning after asking a gent that appeared to be
a rider in the local diner about local roads. I asked for "good twisty secondary
roads" and he replied with "Rt 9"!!
Rt 9 was like Daniel Webster Hwy in Nashua with less shops!! So I got lost around lakes Saratoga and Round lake, nice little roads, scenic, but no good
twisties. Ran out of time and headed to the Lee Parks class that I was there
to attend. But, now after taking the class, I'd like to go back for another
weekend and explore, there's gotta be some good roads in that area!
