Well it's a little to muddy to play in the dirt still so i'll be heading to the VBC sometime on Sunday to try out the WR450 with some road miles. Anyone wanna go? Looking like sunshine with a high of 50

Good ride, not TOO cold, just a bit chilly for us "un-plugged" people. Chowda was decent!

Oh, and that WAS a 914 Porsche, I just was on crack the first time I looked at it

Was cool to see you guys there today I left my house at 7:15 this morning to meet ChR1s for another adventure, it was a chilly 21 out when i left. Was a little to cold for a bike ride, specially having a bike with no wind protection
It felt good to get out tho and i got a pretty good feel for the motard, still needs a few adjustments but i'm pretty happy with it so far. And it also has pretty good fuel range, i don't have a speedo or trip meter on it yet but i know round trip from my house to the Bean is 115 miles and i still have just under half tank of fuel (2.8 gallon tank)

Looking forward to some better weather and cleaner roads

Clayton, how'd those deflectors work out? Mine didn't help much at 6:30am.

Helped a LOT on the very tips of my fingers which used to be the biggest problem. The only downside is that the wind kinda gets pulled in right on top of my hand, so that gets a little cold. And prior to contrary beliefe, they actually don't move a whole lot above 85 mph!

Definitly hoping the next bike I get (cough...zrx1200...cough) can run a heated suit, cause I seriously doubt my current electrical system could handle it. If it did, I would max out the credit card right now on every peice of heated clothing they make. After seeing you guys wearing minimal layers and being fairly comfortable, those things must be worth their weight in gold.
