    I'm going to try to be at MM by 11am, not sure if I'll make it or not. I was at a ride a month or so ago on a green ZR-7, but this time I'll be on an orange Z1000. Feel free to leave without me if I don't show up on time.

    11:15am. I just finished replacing a bolt on my subframe that I noticed was missing during chain lube yesterday. the interesting part is that it took me TWO HOURS to do it. took them awhile to find part at shop, then i realized i didn't have a "star" socket to put it on with, so i tired a giant flathead screwdriver. that didn't work so I went to Sears to buy one. they were out of stock. then i go back to the shop to get it done there. service guy says that "no one has their tools open right now because it's saturday and we close early". a few min later i see a friend who works there as a mechanic fixing a bike. I ask him and hooks me up with a socket and everything is fixed....after two hours of running around. ugh.

    so i guess everyone is off riding by this point. Pete, I called you back but got voicemail. Ok, i need to go find a fun road somewhere.
