Any additional info on how one would RSVP for this. (it's quite likely I'm just dumb and didn't recognize it in the attachment).
Info for RSVP, pls
Looks like fb event
Can someone link the FB event? I scrolled back a couple of weeks on NEMRR and didn’t see it.
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
I'm in.
Also in. Will try to reply on FB, too.
Go fast. Have fun. Repeat.
We should probably have a NESR corner of the parking lot for this…looking like 200 RSVP’ing affirmative.

My goal is to attend. I will be on a WR450f motard.

I'm hoping to make it to this... I'm probably going to be at the track all weekend already though, so I dunno if I'll ride from NHMS to SVM just to ride back again, but maybe I will...
On second thought... maybe bringing my race bike up to the track and riding that on the memorial lap would be more fitting, given that Scott built that motor.
Yeah... think I'll do that instead.
Would love to do a race or two but that's not really in the cards right now.

Unfortunately my FZ6 won't be ready so I'll be rocking an Aprilia Atlantic 500 for S&G's
Looks like I’m going to miss this on the bike. May load my oldest up and drive up, unfortunately 6-8 hours of solo Dad motorcycle time is not in the cards for me.

Sorry I missed it.
Sergio said it was epic. 300+ bikes. Green smoke. I guess Jon got his huge number 3 flag on the pole on the hill too.

Thank you to my sponsors: Sidi / AMSOIL / Klutch Industries
I'm waiting on my wife to send her pics to me but yeah, between the riders from SVM and riders/ racers in the haddock, I wouldn't be surprised if the end count was closing in on 300.
The leaderboard displayed an assortment of pictures, there were green smoke bombs in T9 and the exit of T12, NHMS staff and EMT staff rolled out there as well.
I said it in a post on my business page and I'll say it here.....a stunning display of love.
It was moving. I cried for a lap. I appreciated all the people who rode out. Jerry Randal, who suffered a massive head injury in T6 earlier this year came up and drove a golf cart for the laps. First time I've seen him since his crash. Just a lot of emotion.
I only saw pics and videos and even through those the emotions were strong and real.
Thank you to all who participated.
Well, I didn't end up riding up on Sylwia's bike and didn't bother bringing up my race bike as planned, but I knew full well there would be no shortage of people offering me rides to participate.
Emotionally I was all good till I crested 5...... at which point I put my hand over the #3 plate on the chest of my t-shirt, closed my eyes for a second, felt the emotions wash over and lost my shit as I waved to Sarah standing on the edge of the track.
As a bit of a tangent, I'm honestly a little embarrassed to say this, but I wanna be open about it. There were a couple of fleeting moments where I felt the "gatekeeper" mentality start to creep in ab it. It made me wonder how many were there with no connection and no idea who he was... just heard about a memorial ride, wanted to ride around the race track, get in for free and say "I was there, man!"... Hopefully that number was slim to none.
But regardless of ANYONE'S motives, I'm thankful for each and every single supporter that came out, participated, contributed and donated to the SM Trust, as well as all of those two couldn't make it but whose thoughts were with us. Just like Scotty's wake, the turn-out fully represented how loved he was and how close of a family we all are.
... Fuck, I'm really gonna miss that guy.
He made me smile each and every single time we ever talked.
I was telling a fellow racer about him this weekend. He never got to meet him... I couldn't make it half way through the conversation before I had to excuse myself.

Unbelievable turnout for the ride on an absolutely beautiful day.
Great to see fellow NESRians jasnmar, dontpanic, and lopycam. Tip of the helmet to the patriot guard riders who offered to assist with blocking intersections and keeping the mile long group together. Frankly, the ride seemed surreal at times. Thanks also to the NHMS staff that allowed the memorial lap to happen. The green smoke bombs at the track were incredible. Had a chance to speak with Scott’s dad both before and after the ride. The Mullin family is grateful beyond words from the outpouring of support. Sarah’s preride moment with the bullhorn thanking all of the riders was a true tear jerker.
