Well, kind of. I've at least got the go ahead to pack people in! We'll be at Rocky Road Campground in Loudon, just 2 miles north of the main entrance to NHMS. It's primitive as fuck and well past it's glory days, but that's what we like about it. There's plenty of camping spots, a few spots with electricity and water and even some with just electricity OR water. If bringing a camper, you can fill up out front when you get there and there's no restrictions on running a generator - run 'em 24/7 if you'd like. Dump station is out front. There's portable shitters all over the place, plus a "regular" shithouse and showers out front. Most sites have a firepit ready to go too.
We'll be there Thursday, the 6th until Sunday, the 9th (we'll be attending the races Fri thru Sunday) and again Thursday, the 13th until Sunday, the 16th. We'll also be up there Friday, the 21st until Sunday, the 23rd for the NASCAR crowd - if nothing else, NASCAR weekend is worth it just for the partying and the fly-over the Air Force does before the race. They fly right over the campground and it's absolutely awe inspiring!
I'm guessing there'll be a medium size crowd the first weekend of Bike Week with things picking up by Wed/Thu. Father's Day weekend was a total blast last year and we met a ton of really cool peeps from all over the country as well as from Canada. NASCAR weekend is usually just insane.
He usually charges $25 per person per night, but I think he drops that down to $20 for Bike Week. No real need to call unless you have specific questions you'd like to have him answer. He doesn't really reserve spots - just how up, sign in, sign the waiver, pay up, buy a Rocky Road shirt and listen to his speech explaining things and you're good to go.
The three rules he has posted are: No fireworks, no attitudes, no littering. There's no "quiet time" and there's really no real limitation on noise. Fuck, even *I* have never been asked to quiet down, and that says A LOT. Those that know, know...
There's plenty of stores around within a few miles and he usually has plenty of ice & firewood for sale. And if the need arises he probably has any tools any of us could possibly need if a situation presents itself.
While WE won't be hiring any live bands, it's not outta the realm of possibilities that SOMEONE will show up that will be more than happy to play a few live tunes. It's happened. If we can pack 'em in this year, we're gonna really look into expanding this and try to revive Stonnerstock to it's previous glory.
I'll try to answer any other questions if ya got 'em.
So far, I know Ed (PinHead) is gonna be joining us the 13th - the 16th. Let me know who else wants to help kick this shit off.

Weather is starting to look up for the weekend. I'm not one to look too far ahead, and I certainly don't listen to the typical media talking heads when they try to. But I think tomorrow (Friday) & Saturday are going to be a lot more clear than they were calling it. To me, this Sunday may be the wettest day of the weekend. But it'll be more scattered with some sunny breaks mostly in the afternoon. Even then any showers will be spotty and quick moving - nothing long-term or drenching.
I have a funny feeling next week is going to be a lot better than they're predicting too. We're gonna see a lot more sun than they're currently harping about. Most of the real humid stuff is gonna stay away which should help thwart typical NH afternoon thunderstorms. More humidity may start rolling in towards the middle to end of the week next week, but I think summer will start to make it's push about then.
All in all I think it's going to be a lot nicer for Bike Week than we've been hearing. I'm also confident Saturday's Classic & ASRA Outlaw Bagger race will be dry. In fact, I'll go out on a limb here and say most of the racing this weekend will be rain free.
Stay tuned for the full weather report. Back to Vovchandr on the political climate in Washington...

I'll be at the campground after work tonight cleaning up some spots. Probably get there around 5:00, work until it starts getting dark. First up is Ed's site (PinHead) up by us in the private area. Got some small saplings to whack with the blade attachment & a few smaller trees that've fallen across it I'll have to hit with the chainsaw. I'm hoping to hit a few spots down in the regular camping areas too to make sure those'll be ready to go. More tree damage to clean up from the April storms...
We'll be there Thursday afternoon until Sunday. Reach out if anyone wants to hook up or needs a place to stay. We have our 10x20' heavy duty canopy up too, so we can probably fit a couple small tents under there if needed. That canopy has been up for three solid years now and hasn't budged. We have it weighted down and we take the canopy off the frame every winter. Good to go.

How far are you from the strip? I’m going up with a bunch of women who I hope I can break free from, but who knows. Will Clayton be there?!?
Your park avenue leads to..
If you mean Lakeside Ave at Weirs Beach, we're about 20 miles. We're 2 miles north of the racetrack and I noticed last night they're still packed with vendors and test ride set-ups.
Friday afternoon is looking like a bit of a wash. Scattered rain with occasional thunder & lightening. Today and the rest of the weekend are looking to be incredible.
I'll be rolling into camp around 1:00 this afternoon, Ed's already there. We'll be in & out all weekend, but hanging late afternoons & nights. There's looking to be a bit of a gathering at our site tonight.
Clayton's always invited...
