Jay killed mr the rest of the weekend though, and Jeff was doing really well and crashed out of two races, otherwise he would of had great placement in both races.

Is there any roster available with all the racer numbers? I was there for two hours but I was too cheap to pony up the pit fees since I was leaving shortly after...took a bunch of pictures, but didn't know who anyone was.

Alot of us on this site are racing in Novice, so look into any races with the NV in front of them and you'll probably see a couple of NESR people in the mix.
Anyone have the green Kawi-something that lowsided in one during morning practice? You broke my 'holy shit aaaaand he's down' cherry, congrats...never seen a bike wreck in person...
it's even better when you're at a track day goin through turn 2 about 20 feet behind someone & they go down right in front of ya... that's much more interesting the first time you see that, especially when you're catching up to them when they dump it.. makes ya think a little bit more about what it is you're doin out there on your street bike ;) enough to go out & find a dedicated track bike :DQuote:

I did so-called cornerworking during a track day. I didn't have to go thru the school...some guy just came up to the fence and asked if I wanted to be on the other side. HELL YEAH!!! So...that was pretty much it. I took a ton of pix and saw a ton of crashes. It was the perfect vantage point to watch...I was at the corner that had the 2 turns (the one that goes up to the right and comes back down to the left). No one got hurt, so it was all good. There was some kid that was 13 years old or so that was riding that day. He was totally awesome. He was riding a Motard and some other bike. He was kicking ass.
I believe you were at turn 4. I was chatting with the workers in the bowl for a bit, I'm going to try to work a track day or race weekend before this summer's out. Looks like a great time.Quote:

That bastard, I couldn't get by him for at least 4 laps, and I didn't want to stuff him in some of my faster turns cause he's a pretty nice guy. That time behind him did show me what he could improve, and I think resulted in some great tips for him. I got passed him on the last lap before the red and was making time when the race got flagged and they reverted back to the previous lap for scoring. There was a dead looking guy up in turn 5.Quote:

Thanks for coming up everyone. Sorry i wasn't all that social through the day. I was having a hard time focusing for a number of reasons and not doing the times I should be, put me in a pretty anti social mood for a lot of the day.

Yeah when my bike hit that false neutral as I was trying to downshift into turn 1, you and Jeff both rocketed by me!
Then the Red Flag came out, so I was able to claim that 7th position.
I'm really glad you were able to give me those pointers, I noticed how much more time I can pick up from what you said.
Shit, I dropped about 5 seconds off my lap time from last month by listening to what you and others are telling me to do out there.
...I gotta savior that victory though Jay, it made my weekend beating you and Jeff to the finish line in one race!
