Hey bub, are you attending hi viz camp on rt 2 this weekend?

I was not at the hi-viz convention off Rt 2. Instead I was at the annual aerostich party off 8A. If you saw a black V-Strom with massive BMW-GS like panniers and a rider with positively no hi-viz on.. it may have been me.

Forgot the details on the meetup. Had no interwebz. Wound up aimlessly heading North up through Eastern VT and had borderline perfect weather the whole day. Saturday was even more perfecter.

The problem is traffic- too much of it. PLUS, I believe they have added a bunch of new speed limit signs that are either 30 or 35 MPH. I usually do about 70 on that road so that is insta-license-yank terriorty. Too much risk, not enough reward IMHO.

There are other, less known roads close to 116 that I ride now with virtually no traffic and almost as enjoyable.
