Kurtz sent me a link to a few. Got a lead on a Honda 100 for $700

If it's clean (ish) and runs, just do it.
After following the XR100 market for too long, my opinion is $500 or less is a relative steal. $1000 is too much. $700 is just fine.
They are definitely on for next Sunday.

We are on for SUNDAY 11/8/15 12:10 on the track start (no motors start before noon per permit on sundays)

Wooot! After riding a bunch of bikes on the oval saturday, I would scrape my pennies together to score a crf150. The 100 is truly a dog by comparison. They both have the ideal chassis for learning this sport, but the 150 just has a lot bigger grin factor.
Hmmmm......
I used to own an ancient late 70's or early 80's KZ250 LTD. It ran, had no title and was generally slow as shit. Rode it around the yard a few times as a teenager. Got it as "payment" for getting a '74 CB550 Four up and running.
My friend just told me this afternoon that the KZ somehow made it to his moms house and she wants it gone, along with an old Suzuki GN400. Big thumper street bike. Also rough, also free.
Strip it down, toss some BT45's on there......hmmmmm
Cannot lift left leg. ADLs severely compromised...
Looks like this guy might have a new toy come Saturday!
Office Mobile Service???
I know what he means. I'll point out that Paul is in better shape than me...but I'm not all that sore...but I am a few years younger...
Every little bit of me hurts. But from Sunday not Saturday. Anyway. Don't think I can do two days this weekend. Trail riding on Saturday or this on Sunday. Decisions decisons.
The lack of a steel shoe means that you cannot let your foot touch the ground or it gets wrenched behind you. Both holding said foot up and getting it wrenched back make for an extremely sore hip flexor.

Hip stretches! We all should have been doing them.
I'm hoping to rent a steel shoe for Sunday. I actually would impulse buy one while they are on sale...but they are custom made.
Hey now, let's not pull the age card. I may have done more laps, and possibly rode a little harder than my youthful compatriots!
Isaac,
My hip was fine, it was my left shoulder that hurts. Hopefully in for Sunday on my OWN bike
WHat are you picking up?

2001 Honda XR 100R $600
I think he meant of you isaac haha
I'm so damn jealous of all the fun you people are having, not to mention an excuse for buying another bike! I should convert my back yard to a track.
