Hey Randy! This is Justin, I stopped in for breakfast with my girlfriend a couple of weeks ago and we chatted about your golden among other things.

To anyone who hasn't been to his Inn / breakfast spot (The Gables in Stowe), this place has one of the top 3 breakfasts around in my opinion! Try the french toast with peaches and ice cream and macadamia nuts... it'll blow your mind.

Once the snow clears, we need to organize a Saturday morning trip through the notch with a stop at the Gables!







Ugh... now I'm craving some corn beef hash.

I am there this Summer to check out all the hype about Rt17, its kind of a long day of riding to hit 17 and really enjoy it....it gots to be a overnighter.

17's a bit bumpy nowadays...but still an ok ride.

i think i may take a ride with the gf to the gables tomorrow or monday for some breakfast...after reading this thread im drooling!

Hope you didn't make the ride, or if you did, hope you did it for the ride itself. We were closed for a week, rode the Duc down to NYC to visit friends and family and also took the Lee Parks Total Control class. We're back in Stowe and opening for breakfast tomorrow.
