Hey, that looks a lot like the stunt Motofreak pulled at the track (minus the watery landing)!

The dirt roads that I've been on that were really bad a few weeks ago seem to have gotten a bit better, but some of the roads I was on for the first time were pretty rough. I was out last weekend, but it was only in the Warren area so I don't know how the rest of the state is holding up mud-wise.

All the dirt roads I've been on are in rideable shape. There are a lot of roads closed near Lake Champlain due to record lake levels, including a lane of I-89. http://www.fox44now.com/story/145764...-road-closures Everywhere else seems like typical spring riding with some additional gravel on the roads due to the heavy rains a week ago.

Don't go through the islands on a bike unless you want to stand in cold water while you wait for traffic.

luckily i don't have to go back up there..
the day i went, it was raining at the bottom and snow patrol came out with their snowmobiles to bring us to the WCAX site at the top .. where it was a whiteout.. and we had to hike the 200yds to the VPT building..
that was fun!
Anyone been to the top of Burke in the past week?

No but I rode through St Johnsbury last weekend and the only snow I was seeing on mountains were in NH. If I knew you were coming I'd have double checked Burke.
According to the link Trouble posted, RT 114 is closed but that's much further north than Burke, which is off of RT 114...so just don't come in from the Canadian![]()
And I landed on my feet!
Almost...
Just saw this, great vid! I can't believe the flooding this year. I thought it was outta control last Spring. The river behind my parents house flooded almost to the field, which, if you've been pitbike muddin at my house, is pretty far!

Just on the Bay Rd in Shelburne, VT....officially the road is closed to thru-traffic, if they hadn't had dumped large rock barrier, there would have been waves rolling across the road.
It appears to be about 18-24" at the centerline... I opted for caution, that's how I roll.
