I need something painted on the cheap.

Anyone know someone with a body shop / paint booth who can spray a bicycle frame on the cheap?

Have got it blasted and etch primered... now I want something better than a rattle can finish but don't really want to bother with it myself. Will settle for almost any old color they happen to be spraying that day.

Anyone know some shade tree body shops?

You can get automotive paint in spray cans at NAPA. Light layers and you'd be good to go on the cheap.

Yeah, I had a co-worker use those. He said it just wasn't a great finish. It may be my last resort.

You can get a shop quality finish with a rattle can especially on a small piece like frame tubing.

Just know you only spray multi coats just enough paint so it looks damp like wet snow. The shine will come in like 5 minutes as it soaks through.

If you use duplicolor you can get 2 times more paint in a truck can

Yeah, I know the rattle can finish can be "pretty" but I'm shooting for durable. Didn't think it was possible with cans. When you say MinWax Urethane, are you talking about their spar urethane? That doesn't react with the Duplicolor?
