Considering it's supposed to snow again Sunday night/Monday and be 15 degrees out Tuesday, I expect you to be disappointed.
Shouldn't be too much longer now though.

Re: It was sooo Nice out today!!!!
This afternoon was just way too nice for February. Cut out of work a little early and took the Wee-Strom out for a short ride. Felt great, but it was a cruel tease because I know it won't be that nice out on a regular basis for another six weeks or so.

I took the ZZR out to Stowe to meet my parents. I almost got it stuck in the dirt parking lot of the FlyRod Shop where we met though. It was kinda funny
Re: It was sooo Nice out today!!!!
I took the... no wait, the tuono has a dead battery... crap.
I sat in the garage and made BRAAAAP noises.

Karma is a bitch man. That is what you get for messing around behind your friend's back. I'd be surprised if your bike runs at all this year.

Re: It was sooo Nice out today!!!!
Took mine out yesterday as well. Felt great to get on two wheels, but man, you need pothole radar, and frost heaves are a bitch.

Most bikes don't have 2 headlights. What are you a car?

Lots of bikes have two headlights. You're just suffering from illumination envy.

It's also been shown that it is much harder for most people to determine the speed of a narrow object with only one headlight, because there are very few visual clues as to the vehicles width. Two headlights
A) makes it easier to see
B) makes it easier to BE SEEN
Tell me again why you wouldn't want two headlights if they are available? Or is it just to look cool?

They are not available... Kawi didn't make it that way. Does it look cool?
There is nothing wrong with his one headlight. If he wants to be seen he could run with the Hi beams on all the time. It is his choice and calling his bike "dumb" because the manufacturer made it that way is DUMB. :poke:
Pretty sure that bright green bike and "riding to be seen" will help him to be seen and is cheaper and less of a hassle than "correcting" his "dumb" headlight. :D

Wouldn't riding with hi-beams all the time technically be illegal? And do both lights turn on for hi-beams or just one? If just one, then that still doesn't solve the "problem" of a single light bike. And what about at night? Having two headlights gives your bike width, which makes it easier to see and determine speed, meaning people should be less likely to pull out in front of him.
Bright green bike means nothing when it's dark out. Cheaper and less of a hassle? Sure, but less effective. I agree that if he doesn't want to change it then that's that, but it doesn't mean you should encourage him to be lazy if you don't even know how hard it would be to make the change.
And I agree with Adam that it's dumb, because two lights ARE available (unlike on my SV where there was only one housing, only one bulb, only one circuit) the designers just chose to make the other light hi-beam only.
Am I right, or am I wrong in saying this: more lights are a good thing

Depends on what you are looking to do with them. :D
Again, I just don't see the point of calling his bike "dumb" because of something he did not do to it. The bike was not built that way for a reason, be it coolness, voltage draw, safeness, or maybe the Japanese can't see the difference with the squinty eyes... :dunno:
...and yes I do think the one headlight thing is "cool" so I am not of the same mindset.
I think 6 headlights on a motorcycle looks "dumb". Safe yes. But "dumb".
