Pirelli Orders for LRRS Weekend #1!

We've just updated the MTAG website for the 2011 season, and the update includes new lower pricing on the Diablo Supercorsa and Diablo Superbike tires!

It is also that time of year when I'll be putting in our initial stock order, which will carry us through the first LRRS weekend and the April 18/19 TTD events. If you need tires for either of those events, please get your orders in by this weekend to be sure there's a set of tires set aside for you at your event. You can place your order right on our website. As always, please email me at mike@gomtag.com or PM me here on the forum if you have any questions or need help choosing the right tire.

Nope, just surf over to www.goMTAG.com and put it in? I literally JUST emailed in our large order, adding a couple more to it isn't a big deal.

cool. but whats the deal with no 190s for the Supercorsas? only 180 and 200s on the site.

The 200 (new tire) replaces the 190.
Fits on the same size rim and is only a couple of mm wider

so it'll work good on a 600?

If you have run a 190 before on a 6" rim, then yes.

If you have a 5.5" rear rim I would use a 180 rear
I think most 600's are better suited to a 5.5" rim and 180 tire.

yeah I just checked the pirelli site and it says the 200 is best suited for a 6" rear. so I went with the 180 and saved a bunch of money. guess I'm sticking with Pirelli for now since I just put the order in.

a 5.5" rear wheel running a 180/55 will give more side grip at lean than a 190
Good choice on the 180, you'll drag hard parts on a 600 before you run out of grip on modern tires.

Now, on a liter, a 190 (or 200 is even better.

I was running Dragons in 09 and the first half of last year then got some Superbike Slicks for my last 5 track days or so. the day I did on the Supercorsa front that came on my bike I liked it a lot better than the Dragon front.
