Guess I was hoping for the Final LRRS to be completed by September :teehee:

Not a bad idea, but I'm just glad that the track took our suggestions and got rid of the mid April and mid October dates.
It sure will Eric!!!! full throttle flat out for a good 15-20 for me 45 seconds.....
:naughty
Chris; that is right AM Champ
You can practice your Daytona Kink left at NJMP Kink right. That is what I practiced on before Daytona. Flat out Goodness.
Wait....not to be off topic, but Barber is a week later? Not Columbus Day weekend?
That's what they guys at Barber told me they intend to do.... final details to be released from them in about 3 weeks
I'm also surprised to hear that the AHRMA Vintage Barber event is not being held over Columbus Day weekend (has been for at least the past 3 or 4 year as far as I remember). From the Announcement from USCRA and their MOTOGIRO SOUTH Event Date (Wed-Thur prior to AHRMA event?), I'd still be surprised to see it pushed out a week later.
FWIW, here is the recently released USCRA (Vintage) Road Race Schedule at NHMS (released 10/25/2011 by Bob Coy):
USCRA SCHEDULE 2012
May 4,5,6 - MOTOGIRO EAST - HANCOCK, MA.
May 11,12,13 - VINTAGE CELEBRATION - NHMS
June 11 - US Vintage Grand Prix - NHMS
August 18,19 - Vintage races (FIM?) - NHMS
September 3 - GRANITE STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS - NHMS
September 21,22,23 - MOTOGIRO USA - Vermont / New Hampshire (location to be finalized)
October 3,4,(5?) - MOTOGIRO SOUTH - Barber, Alabama (tentative)
Pewter Run - tentative ( to be determined )
The LRRS schedule is now good for publication:
4/28-29
5/19-20
6/15-17
7/21-22
8/11-12
9/1-2
10/6-7
...best one we've had in a few years!
woot! thanks eric.
*4/28-29
That's a nicely spaced schedule! :)
stupid ass work. I have to work 5 of those weekends. looks like I will not be doing much racing this year.
LETS GOOOOOOO!
thank you :)
Thanks to all who helped secure these dates! Awesome schedule!
Awesome news, thanks for passing it along so quickly Eric.
Do you have any insight into the daily schedule for next year? Any planned changes, or roughly the same? I had heard some talk of lengthening Saturday's program and shortening Sunday's.
Great schedule! thanks to everyone for putting it out so quickly
:plusone: but I also think Novices are the ones who can use the most practice so I would hope that doesn't screw with any of them.
even if we were last practice I think I'm gonna end up skipping the first one every time because I just don't have the vacation time to take off 3 days for 5 weekends.
but along these lines my suggestion would be to have a way where someone could skip the morning entirely and show up late but have registration already done so they can still race that day. maybe somehow being able to print the tech sheet from home.
I agree... having a way to pay online, print out a tech slip, and just show up and roll thru tech before race-time would be ideal. I think the issue w/that is that people would pay, then not show up and want a refund which would make more work for the reg. people.
I know and they shouldnt. The way I understand it is its for mechanical problems that pop up or family type emergencies, not because of weather or you didnt feel like racing because you were partying all Saturday night. Yes we all like getting for stuff we dont use but they should enforce the rule a little stricter. I think they have been more friendly lately because entries have been down.
well my idea was to be able to print it that morning. To me that just seems like it would be less work for the people in registration and hell it would even save them money on paper and toner. You'd still preregister like it is now but just before you leave your house you print out the tech sheet. The biggest problem I see with this is if a lot of people do it then Tech could get pretty packed right before the races start on saturday morning. Lazy people will take advantage of it and ruin it for people who have legitimate conflicting issues like working nights but who still wanna race but not with limited sleep.
