Awesome. That is a cool bike. Took a pic of it a couple weeks ago when we were there. Attachment 54681Attachment 54681
I would love to do bad things to that bike...
They're getting 11 more this week. My build # is 340... Billy is going to see what the lowest numbers are on the new ones. I'd take #765 :)
Sexy machines!
What do you guys think about MM showing up in Qatar to get his COVID shots? I'm still thinking this is all for optics - just appeasing the sponsors is my guess.
Marc is winning the championship.
If he's not racing on the 28th Qatar, I think he will in the second race 4/4 Doha.
Just booked flights for Italy in September. Going to Misano race, if things work out with covid. Anyone been? Any recommendations on seating? We typically just sit in the grass in Austin, and that works well.
Now Marc is out there on a RC213V-S... still too soon to tell if he starts in Qatar or its all optics for sponsorship obligations.
Enough about MM... who is the rookie to watch this year?
Dovizioso set for sensational MotoGP™ return with Aprilia
Andrea Dovizioso: "I was pleased by Aprilia’s interest and when we spoke about the possibility of doing this test, I gladly accepted the invitation to be able to ride a MotoGP bike again and to stay in form, giving the engineers my feedback. I wish to thank Aprilia Racing for this opportunity."
Aprilia was probably not happy with the Savadori and his pace (2.5 seconds off)... I bet he's nervous about his future as a premiere rider for Ape.
It looks official: MM will be sitting out Qatar.

That's one hell of an injury.
I went a couple of years ago. Don't recall the number of the section but it was in the bleachers along the straight between turns 2 and 3. We got seats about 20-30 seats from the turn 2 end of the bleachers. From there we could see the end of the front straight, turns 2-6 and a bit of the straight for 7. BTW, that whole bleacher section was filled with Rossi fans. I would think that area or the sections around turn 12.
Thanks!
Qatar press conference tonight, practice tomorrow!
I need to emerge from my cave more often. I did not realize racing starts this weekend.
Ape looking strong out there during FP1. I bet Dovi is salivating.
Edit: I know FP2 will be more telling as it is at night and will replicate race day more accurately.
