It's all still 100% accurate. Marc still hasn't raced there and the rest of the field has so they do have a 1 year head start. The Honda is a piece of shit that only one rider can take advantage of. I believe that same rider could give any of the factory bikes a good shot at winning the championship.
I think Marc has a real shot at a win here. He is that gifted of a rider. FP1 and FP2 show that. Other then Bagnaia, which I didn't see his lap since I was at work, Marc is less then a cunthair from being #1 on the sheet.
What happened to Martin to be 3 seconds off and how did KTM really fall off the map this season so far after having such a good year last season?

Let's go Franco!!!
Everyone is crying about Marc's tow-tactics, I don't have an issue with it.

Re: 2021 MotoGP Discussion (Spoilers)
Wow, what a race!
Fabio... reminiscent of Lorenzo. Never sure how he's going to do.
Not sure what the hell happened to Vinales early on but classic, he makes it back somewhere.
And Morbidelli!? Alright!!
Really bummed to see Rins go down after sticking on Fabio's rear wheel for so long, but it isn't anything we haven't seen before.
And hey, top 7 finish for Marc on his first weekend back? Nothing wrong with that, he's clearly not at 100% confidence or fitness.
-
Re: 2021 MotoGP Discussion (Spoilers)
Domination by Fabio, hope this is just the start of some consistency. Hats off to 93 for the finish.
Acosta is fucking legit!!

Re: 2021 MotoGP Discussion (Spoilers)
Marc was just holding on at the end, his arm was clearly brothering him. Tough guy, he will only get better... Maverick again goes south at the start??? I dropped the wrong Yamaha rider!

I actually laughed out loud last week when someone asked me if I would put Maverick on my team... I really don't know what Yamaha was doing resigning him so soon

Re: 2021 MotoGP Discussion (Spoilers)
I kept my fantasy riders where they were & was glad I did. Unfortunately Zarco binned it cuz he was one of my A riders, but my other riders finished 2nd, 3rd and 4th. :naughty
Great race, though. F Quat rode brilliantly.
And how bout those Moto2 and 3 races?
Joe Roberts put on a great show in Moto2, it's too bad he got squeezed out at the end there... HARSH pass, but fair, IMO.
And PEdro FUckin ACOSSSStaaaa! 16 years old & KILLIN IT! Holy shit, I can't believe he stayed on the bike in that final corner. He shoulda crashed 5 times!

Re: 2021 MotoGP Discussion (Spoilers)
Shame about Zarco binning it, I was pulling for him. They said he had a gearbox issue, I think that was his team covering for him. Looked like he just lost the front to me. Round 4 is really where the season starts, bye-bye outlier tracks. Whoever managed to do well and score some points the first 3 rounds, good on em. They’ve all turned thousands of laps and have tons of data on the European campaign, we’re about to see what’s really up.
Moto2 did not disappoint. I was pissed about Remy’s move on Joe. Mostly because I think Remy is a cunt. Joe took it like a man, good ride by him. Shame what happened to Cam as well, I forget who hit him but he may have made it to P6 without that incident, good job keeping it sticky side down anyway and a top 10 finish.

Re: 2021 MotoGP Discussion (Spoilers)
I'm watching Moto2 to pull for Roberts and Beaubier. I too was tweaked by the 'pass' on Roberts. I let out a pretty good yelp when that happened and spent a few minutes cussing the commentators for the "that's just racing" line. The replay calmed me down a bit. Him all grins showing off the rubber on his shoulder calmed me down even further.
I wanna hear the star spangled banner a few times this season.
What are folks' opinion on Beaubier's performance? I do not follow moto-america. Wiki says he's been cleaning house there. Not clear how those series compare.

I'm a bit impressed by cam so far. The level of moto2 is extremely high and the bikes are nothing like a production bike. Way stiffer and setup is a lot more involved. It takes 2 years just to learn the bike imo.

I thought you were deep in the Remy camp? I've been meh about him all along, same with Lowes.
I didn't think it was a gearbox issue for Zarco, I thought he downshifted to first by mistake. Dare I say it...but I think I'm turning the corner on him.
-
Re: 2021 MotoGP Discussion (Spoilers)
I started in the Remy camp, I think we all get a bit excited when someone not Spanish/Italian looks like they might be able to bring the fight. I was done with him half way through the season. Whiny little cunt, entitled.
I didn’t like Lowes much, but he’s another one I think turned a corner last year. I think it happened for him and Zarco at the same track, Red Bull Ring. If you remember, Lowes caused a nasty crash dive-bombing into the same corner Morbadelli’s bike almost killed Vinales. He was a different character after that.
-
Re: 2021 MotoGP Discussion (Spoilers)
I still don't like Lowes, but he has improved a bit. Zarco I just think is talented as hell and probably an interesting guy to hang out with.

I don't remember this. More details please, it's quite difficult to google/youtube "Sam Lowes crash" and find what I'm looking for :lmao: needle in a haystack

Miller's crash looked kinda similar... Corner entry-ish and a super quick front end fold. If the Ducatis are having gearbox or blipper issues that could have plausibly contributed to either one of them.

At least in Miller’s case it looks like he’s figured out a way to conserve some tire

Re: 2021 MotoGP Discussion (Spoilers)
Miller's post race interview with Simon was pretty legit. Very happy with the outcome.

Re: 2021 MotoGP Discussion (Spoilers)
Fabio should or would have won the race. Definitely a battle for 2nd halfway thru the race.
Don't get me wrong, I love Miller and glad he didn't crash before Fabio had to give the win.
That's how races end, either a mistake made, tires giving up or a commentator curse.
Shit happens.
Miller was handed the win by his good mate Fabio.
Le Mane French is next. Would like to see Fabio P1 and Zarko P2. And have Spectators in the seats

Ehhhh, I tend to disagree. It was Fabio's mistake. He could have ran a slower pace to try to avoid it. He took a risk and it didn't work. I also don't think when someone crashes they give away the win. Its their mistake.

That was hard to watch. Miller definitely got a gift, but hats off to him for continuing to push and capitalizing on the situation. Maybe it wont be another four years until he wins again...
FQ’s face on the cool down said it all, sheer agony. He commented he was having to brake with all four fingers. I used to get brutal arm pump racing MX (mostly due to poor form) but I cant imagine what these guys go through.

Re: 2021 MotoGP Discussion (Spoilers)
Moto 3 was the best race of the weekend again. Really fun to watch.
Moto2 was ok. Not terrible but not great.
Moto GP was just ok too. Not a big Miller fan but it was nice to see his reaction to a win. Reminded me of my first win. Also don't believe it was gifted to him. What we saw was typical Fabio imo. Hes fast and a very good rider but fades. Did it all last year. On paper he is fast enough to win the championship but they dont race on paper.
I think Marc rode a good race. I thought he was done after his practice crash in T7. Scary. I really want him to get his arm strength back and ride back up front but the Honda seems to once again be a complete mess.

His "mistake"? He said it came out of no where.
