Re: Ambition outweighed the talent (Spoilers)
Not to get into a flame match here, but Rossi being a dick? REALLY? I think your dick-o-meter needs a recalibration
Seems to me the man apologizing in public isn't being a dick.
I understand everyone has their opinion and perception. You're certainly entitled to yours.
I didn't see that pass as anything but an agressive move, not unlike any other pass any other rider would do to each other - raining or not.
Re: Ambition outweighed the talent (Spoilers)
Great race, just watched it, thanks for the heads up. I especially liked Cortese's highside to a 720 while never letting go of the bike

Stoner didn't think so, said he expected it and left him room. He wasn't upset at the pass, just the take down; who wouldn't be, but you get over it.

Actually, IIRC LCR or Michelin was sabotaging him in some way. he would be fast and stay up in every practice, then come race time he would crash and complain that the front didn't feel the same as it did in practice.
Re: Ambition outweighed the talent (Spoilers)
Lol, those LCR guys are all doomed. Maybe that's the team you get when Dorna wants you gone? See conspiracy theory thread. It CAN happen.

I also thought the pass was a bit over reaching (given how far back he was when they got to the braking area), but I thought for sure he was just going to run them both wide.
Crap I trust Tony's judgment on this stuff.
I'm going to agree to disagree with regards to Rossi overall, and I will back down to more experienced track riders with regards to the pass.

if you watch the replays the first couple guys helped Rossi because he was trapped under 2 bikes and by the time they even get there Stoner has his bike almost upright. So they get Rossi's bike off him and since they are already touching it they push him. By that time a couple guys are already pushing Stoner. Once Rossi is away they all push Stoner to no avail then get the hell out of dodge when a freight train of bikes is coming because they have to look out for their own safety too. And that brings us to the fact that the Honda CAN'T be bump started without the clutch being pinned.
