Armour Bodies Signature Series Bodywork GB

Group buy for the Signature Series Armour Bodies Bodywork:

If you're going to be in, reply to this post, if you're not sure then make sure that your post mentions a maybe. I can say right now it won't be more than $700 + shipping for a set. I am not sure how much shipping will cost, but for a single set it's $75 so plan on that. The total price is a $100 off the base price. The more people we get the more I might be able to get the price dropped.

The Signature Series Bodywork price is $200 more than the Pro Series because it has an extra $140 of kevlar in it and a $60 more expensive primer. The primer used on the Signature Series Bodywork will allow you to do a garage paint job and look a lot better than on the Pro Series.

The order will be placed on Weds, so decide fast!

no offense but that stuff doesnt compare - the signature series is typically 1k per set and of much greater quality

The E fairing is one of the better sets on the market, Jamie and i have plenty of experience with crash testing, painting and repairing.

When you can get almost three sets for the price of one of another brand the purchase is a no brainer.

    hehehe

you will soon see young grasshopper (=

i've been down your road not too long ago, spent the more money on bodywork ... I am sure the quality is better, but the 2nd time around I preferred to use the extra $300+ on the set of tires I need every race weekend and went with this cheaper bodywork which fit up better and has been good so far.

its your money ... just remember the offseason is cheap ... you are racing a 600, you will be wishing you had that extra $300 come Sept. and Oct.

    Dennis,

Trust me, I did the same thing as you ... I was warned many times about spending any thing extra like on premier bodywork, etc;. I ignored everyone and just went on spending money ... then I struggled throughout the year to make every race weekend, tires, entry fees, gate fees, food, etc;. $700 before I turn a wheel on the track on race weekends ...

This year I learned .. spent some money in the off season, but kept most in reserve and had a very stress free year, except for the crash in June ... $1000 repair bill (budget ~$500 for repairs for each crash)

The only ones to get ... the parts are the most available up at the track

Woodcraft clipons too are a must ... you want to make your bike as crashable, and using these woodcrafts parts makes the financial blow to the wallet less when you crash as you can buy each part seperate.

I spent abut $10,000 the first year ... that does not include cost of bike

    It includes:
    Complete Suspension Work
    Engine Covers (both sides)
    Bodywork ($700)
    Warmers
    Extra Rims
Tire Costs ($3000 for the year)
Race Fees ($1700 for the year of races)
Gate Fee ($320 for the year)
    Gas
    Food
    Camping Supplies
Thursday/Friday Race Practice ($900 total for the year)
    Fixing the bike from crashes

    The list goes on

This year has been better, because I've learned my lessons along the way ... plus staying on two wheels helps alot

You have to have an uptodate helmet in order to race with LRRS (look at the rulebook) .. I recommend getting Impact Armor, which is a back protector, chest protector system ... saved my life this year.

I have 3 jobs so that I can pay for this whole hobby with cash ... i will not go into debt because of racing, but I have to work my ass off to pay for it. (=
