So on the subject of gloves, closer inspection leads me to deem mine toast after this crash. Thoughts on a safe high quality glove that's also a good value (ie not cheap, but good quality for the $$).

    Thanks!

I plan on upgrade my gloves for next season and I like the Teknic Lighting for about $100.

Held Titans are near the top for protection. You pay for it, but after mashing my hand up in a crap glove, I won't skimp again. Held Phantoms are a bit easier on the wallet and don't give up much to the Titans for protection.

i looked at the Latigo's; the zipper broke when i was trying it on in the shop. Went with SIDI Fusions - not nearly enought protection for the track but a good street boot. A little tight, thought they'd break in but didn't,now looking again. i have lots of Cortech/Tourmaster items, usually great quality so i was kinda surprised.

I'm neither a gear expert, nor an accomplished crasher. I'll be interested to see if you guys tear this option apart too:

I have a pair of Cortech Adrenaline gloves. They have replaced the style with a new Adrenaline II style and the I is on closeout across the 'net for wicked cheap if you aren't picky about color. I like mine so much I picked up a 2nd pair as backups.

STG has 'em for $50 now if you are okay with blue. They have other colors too, but very limited sizes.

I held there stuff at the vendor garage at indy and it all felt like good street level gear but not way good for the track. Those latigos especially felt like junk
