The cones on the right?! I don't think so... You've got a case of seriously inaccurate or non-existent markers.

Negative! You would be straight up in the nascar wall if you tried to brake there. That's AFTER the little curb jump. 99 percent of people are FINISHED braking right there.

    Re: Braking technique advice

In this vid you can hear the motor (kind of) and you can see the seams before the entry to 11 (seam... seam........ left cone/crack)
I'm hearing him roll off just after the 2nd crack
I then see Chris' fingers as he applies the brakes just after he rolls off
And then he then grabs a down shift at the cone on the left.

Scroll to 3:45. At this point in the race he's directly behind me so what I'm doing is pretty much exactly what he's doing. I actually pull on him a little bit through 11, but what I gain on him he makes right back up in 11a and 12.

Things get nice & close in T7-8-9 around the 6:05 mark... fukker makes a ballsy pass, I try to hang on but can't & he makes it stick.

Yea that seem becomes a legit 'hit' as you get going faster and faster.
