well after afew days of steady improvement my elbow started to look really bad last night. i figured i'd better head to the clinic in the A.M. to get it looked at before it started healing funny if it was broken. as soon as i saw the X-rays i knew. nice little break at the elbow end of my fore arm bone. (radius or ulna? not sure wich). anyways i'm waiting for the ortapedic guy to call back, with the time for my afternoon apointment. i'll try and post pics of the X-rays later if i can figure out how. in the mean time i'm off to find some lunch.
shit man! Sorry to hear that! What a damn weekend everyone had. Heal up soon man!

just got the call from the ortho, appointment is on thurs???? i guess it must not be that bad of a break afterall.... though the X-rays are pretty scary to my laymen's eyes. than again it hasn't been a very painful experiance so far. i guess they know what they're doing.
damn son, sorry to hear bout that. definitely an unlucky weekend for us NESR racersI've got an appointment on thursday as well. Already saw an Ortho & he immediately referred me to a hand surgeon so that's where i'm goin on thursday.
Ya got any way to share the x-rays? Any idea when you'll be back on a bike?

good luck with the hand....look on the bright side, at least our bikes didn't burst into flames.
Damn man! I bet you can still race.Plus you'll have a little more time to get the bike straight.

ha, ha. that pic was from my first lap of afternoon practice. the NSR was running so rich i looked like a small brush fire smoldering my way around the track.
lol, no, i black flagged myself to go make some jetting changes.... no point in going the long way around when you can't get out of first gear.
oh yeah, looks like the elbow needs surgery, pins, wires. doesn't sound fun.
oh man, sorry to hear that. I'm in the same boat so I know how ya feel. Surgery's scheduled for Monday morning.

it's fixed
pardone the spelling left hand still paralized from anastisia, also on vics...yay.
left arm is in a sling and wraped like a mummy. can't feel or move laft hand yet. bandages come off in 2 days. stiches out shortly there after. my long ponytailed, waxed and curled handlebar mustach wearing ortho surgon did a bang up job with two pins and a tension band/wire between the two...cool. best part is all my new hardware is permanant. arm will be returned to light duty status as soon as the bandages are off. should be 8 weeks till i'm up to riding, plus i have a bent nsr to sort out...and i was getting soooo close on the jetting. if it had been dry and i could have kept the rpms up i might not have been making this post....oh well, it wasn't dry i didn't/couldn't keep the Rs high enough. lesson lern't....no sense crying over spilled elbows. must improve......i'm bionic now look out bitches. lol.
good to hear things went well. enjoy the vic's and heal up quick![]()
