289s fault all the way. There is no way you should be correcting your line at that point in turn 9. The bike stood up because he saw Bergs' front wheel and hit the brakes or rolled off the throttle. Typical inexperienced reaction to a new situation. he'll learn by it and won't be so spooked next time someone passes him.
My guess is he did the ole track-day novice line into turn 9... instead of going from the apex of 8 directly to the apex of 9, he hugged the exit of turn 8 and used an outside-ins-OHSHITTHERE'SBERGS-outside line.... cuz it looks like he's tightening his line way too soon. He's practically pointed at the tires by the jersey barrier in those pics.
