Alright I sent my to CCS directly to Texas, don't know if its the same but my license says CCS and ASRA on it
I mailed Wanda both CCS & LRRS 2013 License Applications in January, noting that CCS granted a free upgrade to ASRA licensing - along with CCS license renewal & asked for a bunch of ASRA numbers that would allow me to use LRRS 14. My LRRS/CCS License is for NorthEast Region CCS & includes ASRA# 141. I already have AMA Life Membership, so that part is covered for ASRA and/or USGPRU "National" races. ASRA/USGPRU Feature races cost $90 each (Pre-Entry). Not sure how much the ASRA 88-Lap Team Challenge will cost at NJMP in September. I'd be willing to ride with someone in the Team Challenge, if any team gets put together & needs another rider. Can bring along my vintage "Team Funnel" Quick-fill gas dump can :-)
Just remembered I agreed to go to this race with a buddy. I've never raced NJ, just did a 2 day there, so what is the format? I see pre-reg is over, do you register late on a website or at the event? How do I get in for practice Friday? How much are the sprint races?
What is tech like? I have 6" numbers $plates but I see CCS wants 8" so are they going to be sticklers? Can you camp there?
Sorry for the 20 questions, I'm playing catch up.
Thanks
pre-reg is way over. you'll have to wait in line. they grid you in order of registration. MW races are 44-46 bikes usually
you'll need to buy($80)/rent($25) a Westhold transponder if you dont already own them.
friday practice is through Absolute Cycle i believe. it's like $150.
i have 6" in the front and 4" in the tail for my decals. just make sure your "1" is a straight line. they cut the wing off my "1" this year.
bring all your gear to tech (belly pan, bike, transponder, helmet, gloves, suit, back protector, boots).
no Eject Helmet system required.
i think Saturday has two 15 minute sessions, and Sundays have 1.
FYI, the track wont have apex cones in Sat/Sun practice or the races. so look for your reference marks
camping is like $5/day and electricity is like $10/day
gate fee is $25/person. there is no exception for pre-reg or 3+ races outside of LRRS.
When does the line start for grid? Anything on camping?
Also, I can't cut the wing off my #1, the plates are one printed sheet.
there is no pre-grid. dont wait for 3rd call either.
Jim I have a Bomo banner that was left at NHMS after the last track day. not sure if its yours or Degsy/Scottie's. let me know if you want it to hang on an EZ up down there.
is it the one that was cut?
no wonder why Scottie cant find it.
yes, i'll snag it from you if possible. i'm leaving thursday morning for New Joysee
I raced the TC at NJMP last year. It was a good time. You will need to either rent a special transpnder for this race or buy one though. Need an endurance transponder.
Cut? I don't know. its a big white banner. Someone walked over to me at the Classic and asked if I could take it since it was left behind at the track day. I forgot I had it till Jersey last week when I saw it in my truck.
I'll be home all day today and tomorrow and before 3:30 the rest of the week.
Mark, i'll be there Thursday night if you have any questions.
Good luck down there guys, been thinking I may join you for the next round if the funds are there. Stay safe.
I'm leaving today, see you all there :)
93 (104 with humidity) yesterday.
dump some water on your head and maybe dip your shirt in ice water just before your race. and try to relax and don't work too hard.
If you aren't peeing, you aren't hydrated! Drink enough water...then drink some more.
Awesome weekend.

tell them to get their heads out of their asses and posts the results quicker. live timing would be great but I bet that westhold system sucks too much for that
Brett you went too?
