As a former pit bitch (now I work the corners....typically T2), I can honestly say, being the pit bitch is a good time. The stuff to do is generally not difficult, keeps you entertained, and most importantly, helps out resident racers like no one's business: tire warmers, bottles of H2O, pulling the ever-stuck arm of the leathers in 90 degree heat after a 20-minute race, learning how to appropriately (read: will pass tech) reapply race plastics to a trashed EX-500 2 minutes before the start of P-Twins with only a few zipties and some electrical tape.....ah, memories.....
not to mention it's a great learning ground for a potential new racer. :)

Re: With all the new chicks around here
I've spent a few days at the track for track days. Not the same commitment
required as for a racer, but the experience was a shared experience. Sharing this together and being involved can be a great for a couple.

Re: With all the new chicks around here
So....we have a bunch of guys who would love to have NESR girls help in the pits. And a few girls who might be interested.
Looks like we need a sign-up list. Perhaps a rotating schedule?
...
Seriously, is there a turn 1a representative to introduce prospective pit women to everyone and show them what's up?
In garage 9 (and the surrounding garages) everyone is welcome. Stop by and introduce yourself.
Most everyone is friendly at the races. Sometimes right before a race I like to have some space, but otherwise it is great to meet new people.

OK, this may be a dumb question on this site, but in the interest of taking
the lazy route, where do I find the race schedule for Loudon? And do they
let just anybody into the pit area? I have alot of family in Ma/S. NH and may
be interested in taking in a race, I'll even bake cookies.

You pay at the gate and that will get you an armband allowing access to the pits. Spectators can park outside the tunnel and walk in.

Re: With all the new chicks around here
You can also check this Schedule to find out when our resident members are racing.

They allow bikes in the pits with no restriction, so I highly recommend taking your bike. Also, if you plan on hanging around, lots of people camp at the track, tents, RVs, etc. It's worth it if you want to hang around and get to know people outside their racing persona (which is not always the most outgoing and friendly persona they have). Denno, I'm talking about you!:drink:

Re: With all the new chicks around here
The advertisements from google in the upper right hand corner of this thread are hilarious -
"Meet Biker Chicks!"
"Biker Girls waiting for your call!"
:spit:

Re: With all the new chicks around here
Come by the "Broadsquad" racing garage 2 center. My sis in law Ann will try to get you out on the track. We need more girls racing!
Plus I miss all the girls stopping by comparing new tattoos, leather, and aftermarket accessories. :naughty

Re: With all the new chicks around here
I should get me one of these "girlfriends" and/or "pit bitches". It sounds like they are quite useful. Hmmm
