We ended up having to make 3 runs for food, one initial one when we expected ~100 people, then a second when almost 200 raised their hands at the rider's meeting saying they were going to attend, and then third when we saw that the line of people coming over kept getting LONGER for the first hour. I took a quick ride around the infield while we were in full swing, and saw about 30 people not at the BBQ, and most of them I recognized as already having coming through the line and donating and eating. Between all the people making generous donations, and the crazy bidding at the auction, it really does show just how great a group of people the LRRS community is.Quote:
