The last time I was in Florida, I talked to Henry DeGouw about how he promotes Florida CCS. I've always noticed he has small posters on store windows all over Homestead and Florida City. I asked him how widespread his efforts are and he replied, "Statewide."
He runs races at Homestead, PBIR (Formerly Moroso) and Jennings. He gets a hold of the distributors of motorcycle parts and accessories (You know, the folks who normally drive around to all of the bike shops and dealerships) and gives them the flyers and stuff he wants out there. They do all of the leg work that they were already doing without too much effort by Henry. He says that the only downside would be more than one distributor leaving materials at the same place, but nothing wrong with a little oversaturation in this case.
So, does anybody know anyone in the distributing business?

The year they made up posters with Scotty Greenwood on them I put those things up everywhere I went. Every shop every bar. I wish they would bring them back this year.

haha ass. I actually forgot that I have talked to her after college. I started riding at the very end of senior year and I remember she worked at Brockton Cycle and I would see her there on occasion. I've contacted her to see if she can help hook us up with some of the traveling salespeople about placing these handouts at dealerships/stores.

I'm curious, who do you know at sullivans??

I think distributing as many posters/brochures as possible would certainly help, but also organizing more rides to the races. Those seem to draw a big crowd.
