What happened to Niksa is just racing, he high sided in front of me and I could not get to the out side becuase his bike was in the way. That meant I had to go to the inside where he was. I focused on his feet, braking and waiting for him to separate from his bike, but was too tangled with the SV and I never got the daylight I was looking for. I stayed with him until the ambulance got there, then asked if he needed any thing and he said "no go get back in the race". My rear brake caliper had broken off and tangled in the swing arm so may race was done, that and I smoked the clutch getting back in with the rear brtake locked..... So race 9 Unlimited SS was also a DNF and then I skipped the last race becuase it would be too much of a scramble to fix the clutch. It turns oiut the inner basket it toast so I woiuld worrk hard for nothing any way.
Deb hit the ground real hard in T1 in race 5, picked it up, we fixed it on pit road and she made the restart, then crashed again in T1 by grabbing too much brake trying to out brake a TZ 250 and a Motard. A for effort, but she was beat down and it just was not in teh cards so I let disgression be the better part of valor and we called it a day. Too bad becuase I had fastest times in both practices by a second.....oh well, there's always May....
