About 2g's in suspension alone. Count the other upgrades and it's like buying the good stuff and getting a free bike.
Plus everyone seems to love them things![]()

David got his for that kinda $$$, it's newer and has more goodies.
Just wait for the right deal.

That's not a good price.
Not to mention in this economy, in the middle of winter...
There are better deals to be had on an SV than that.

Whats the mileage and how much racing was done on the engine and tranny?
That doesn't seem like a great deal, but its a complete package ready for a race season. Other bikes may be cheaper, but then you may need to upgrade parts or need spares.
Also...how much does this rider weigh? Your probably going to need to get new springs for the forks and maybe the shock depending on what its set up for.

I'll agree, doesn't sound like a great deal dude.
If you do buy it, I'll buy one set of wheels off you though.![]()

I'll offer the guy 2500 and see what happens. I think 3500 is a bit high.

Thanks for the input gent's! Yeah I think 3500 for a 10 year old bike is high.
It's only got 4 races on it and 11,000 miles.
KB
no that was initial cost. i didnt include the gmd front end, scotts damper, sprockets, 2 extra sets of wheels, power commander & tuning, 1/5th turn throttle, painting the body work, the 07 gsxr front end, and the shiney new motor parts that are being worked on right now.
the other motor also came with most of a bike for short money so im not including that one as i plan to put it back together

I'd agree its too much but offering 2500 like you mentioned is a really good plan.

you guys are missing the 3 sets of wheels. rear sv wheel with rotors will run ya about $250 and the front $300+ unless youre patient and get lucky. even if he pays $3k for it and sells a set of wheels for $500 hes only $2500 into it. my bike is only 2 years newer than that one and your just gonna have to trust me when i say that ive beat more than 11k miles on it.
saying its not a good deal isnt necessarily true...11k on it and its 10yo...thats what? 1000 miles a year on it.if you can get it for $2500 then thats great...but even if you get it for $3k i still say your good. at least you have good idea of mileage. i could sell you mine and say that it has 12k miles on it and that would totally wrong since i cant remember the last time the odo worked.

^thats a good point but no is buying parts right now...if you are giving them away then maybe. Not sure you could even let a set of wheels go for 500...if the right person comes along.

I agree w/ Oxx & Jay. 3k would be fair. 2500 would be a steal almost as big as my KX![]()
