I'm putting sharkskinz on my bike but I would still like to ride on the street without changing the bodywork back. Has anyone added an aftermarket light to their race plastic? I've seen products from OPP racing and yoyodyne, but would like to see them installed.
anything other than stock has a high potential of looking ghetto. i bought a bike with 2 Dick Cepek driving lights for headlights and i hated them. i couldnt see shit at night and there is no hi beam. typically they are also not DOT legal so passing a SI with them could be tough. why not just but an upper that uses the stock headlight?

I allready have the sharkskinz so getting another upper probably isn't going to happen. The bike is an Aprilia Mille and I was going to put just one 4" round in the right side with high/low beam. I could mount the factory light in but it doesn't leave much meat around the edges, and when it goes down the first thing to break will be the light. Looks like it's ghetto on the mean streets of Shirley.
I've seen it done with those funky projector-like lights. Looks pretty slick if it's done right. I'm sure if you poke around, you'll find many a picture...
I'd personally stack two of 'em, kinda offset from one another (diagonal)...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Sharkskinz makes street uppers that allow you to use your OEM headlights.

Just sent sharkskinz an e-mail. I'm gonna look into an RC-51 light now. Thanks.
