Hey guys,
So i crashed back in September and had to take the ambulance to Concord Hospital. At the time, I didn't have my wallet/insurance info with me, so when I got the bill in the mail, I called the hospital and they said they would resubmit to my insurance. (Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan). Fast forward to now - I just opened a letter from the Concord Hospital which says...
"Blue Cross has denied the claim stating it must be billed to the auto carrier first. " Then a box is checked off that states "Third Party Liability (Auto or Liability insurance may be responsible).
If you believe you are not responsible for the balance listed above please contact:
Your insurance carrier to resolve the Issue.
Concord Hospital Customer Service as soon as possible to inform us of the outcome.
WTF!!
Anyone else have an experience with this/ advice for me? A $6,000 hospital is a season ender for me next year
