i went up there today. had 2 8 min practice a 8 min qualify and then i got a mysterious flat tire right before the main. track was cool. a little slick. but not bad. plenty of grip if you stayed online. i couldnt quite get the whole sliding thing down.( im used to grippy asphault ya know) the other guys there said you just save it on your knee but i couldnt get a knee downi need bigger rims and tires higher bars or just an overall bigger bike. like a DR or CRF. there were 6 motard guys and about 8 pocketbike guys. cant believe the PB were slower than the MM. i managed to take a second off during each session starting at 26s and ending in the 24s. decent in a kart or even a PB but with 4 of the MM guys doing 21s in the final i was obviously not the fastest one there. theyve got more seat time than me. a few familiar faces up there too. that Peterson guy that was in all my MoM races at 128 and a guy that races LRRS with us (cant remember his name) i guess they are doing events at night also. (830?) check the site. i also heard that Sugar Hill will be doing races for the MM this summer. i think their first race is under the lights on 4/28. so maybe a trip up to Weare after the races on Sat at NHIS
it was definatly fun but dont know if i can handle the $45 every time especially when its only a practice event (like today..no points or prizes) $45 to RACE is one thing but i dont know about just practice.
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

So what was the timeframe? On-track at 8:30am and off by 10am? Like I said, lotta driving for 35 minutes of riding at $45.
Boston --> San Diego
i think we were on a littleearlier than 830 (maybe 8)and its only about 35 min drive for me. and yeah... out by 10-1030. i hear ya alex. def. a trek for you. more for locals, i mean its not far from Portland so if you live around there/here. i really liked the MoM event. it was all day and different classes and lots of people. i hope they do more asphault events this year.
what was really cool was they ran transponders so you got all your lap times.
