So I noticed in the Loudon classic schedule, they have a supermoto race scheduled in lot S3.
Just curious if any of the powers that be (Graham, Eric...even kurlon?) can enlighten me as to what the plan for the course is going to be?
As far as I know, there isn't an outside entity running it this year. Pretty sure lot S3 is the drift track?

'Bout time they put you hooligans out with the other riff raff
I cased that last one...definitely not fun.
Not that interested in riding around a parking lot, either. If the have dirt and jumps, I'd probably do it though.

Do you have a link to the schedule?
Does anyone know if you would need an LRRS license to enter?
No idea, they haven't posted anything for details other than putting spots for it in the schedule.
I've been working under the premise that it is for LRRS licensed riders only. That would, of course, seem logical.
I have a NEMM license now. If they'll accept that I'll pack my WR and ride it.
Otherwise I'll pack my WR and do the penguin track day on Thursday and watch this SM instead.
That looks to me like an NEMM license should be good for the weekend.Originally Posted by 2017 LRRS Rulebook
Please keep me posted as I no longer get LRRS emails.
Okay thanks!
Details have been posted to the LRRS group on FB, I expect them to hit the website soon.
$100 entry for SuperMini, $150 for Open and Lites.
The following licenses are accepted: AMA Supermoto, CCS/ASRA, LRRS, NEMM, NJ Mini Moto, SMEC, minimum age is 14.
There is a payout for the first 10 finishers in Open and Lites.
Timing and scoring is via AMB transponders.
Tech is LRRS minus belly pan.
Track is dirt heavy, almost no real road course sections, I kinda expect one or two of the dirt 180s to revert to pavement.
I really, really love he idea of a legit supermoto race at NHMS for the classic. I'm happy that they are making the effort to make a track away from the rocks we have had previously. That said, that layout seems weird at best, is anyone in touch with who designed that? Would they be open to some constructive criticism?
Yeah, this feels a bit like the later Master of Minis rounds at Cycles 128 that were billed as 'supermoto'. In reality it was MX on pavement, no road race component other than some pavement connectors. That said, I'm game to give it a go.
How about a table top or a double so those spectating bear the road get a show. Right before those 3-4 whoops

Thanks for the info guys.
$150 seems a little steep if you are an amateur or anyone else who has no chance of finishing top 10.
