I just realized, I know where there is a 1984 GPZ 1100... if we can revive it in time... It's got a rack of Mikuni flatslides on it in place of the factory EFI, it spent it's last years in service getting prepped as a drag racer. We have most of the parts to convert it back to EFI, but it needs some massive TLC before it's raceable.
Looks like my Hawk is not legal. :(

Mine may not be legal because of some of the mods I have that Bill's bike does not have.
Just enter it. Nobody's protesting at USCRA one off events. It's about participating mare than winning.
So I guess reading the rule book pays off, Here is the line pertaining to Formula 3 and the FZR's
(With the exception of Formula 3, Four cylinder restricted to
steel frames in period. (i.e: NO GSXR, FZR).
12 Rules for Provisional Classes
12.1 Period IV, Formula 3 classes
Period IV, Formula 3 classes will be added provisionally for 2011 season
and run concurrently with Modern 125GP.
Eligibility cut-off: Dec. 31st, 1989, no updating beyond this year.
Similar, later models without performance improvements may apply in
writing for approval.
• 125cc, 2-stroke GP
• 500cc, 2-stroke singles
• 400cc, 2-stroke street based twins and triples
(must have original frames, cylinder blocks and engine casings)
• 400cc, 4-stroke four cylinders
• 650cc, 4-stroke twins
• Unlimited, 4-stroke singles
(Exception: Suzuki GS550, Kawasaki EX250/500;
current models allowed).
Rules applicable to all Period IV, Formula 3 classes:
1. Engine: Internal modification limited only to period type.
Normal induction (no forced/ram air, except where OEM in Formula
3). Airbox and toolbox may be removed.
2. Carburetion: Any period carburetors permitted.
3. Liquid cooling: Machines must run water only and flush system
completely. Antifreeze prohibited. Water WetterŪ permitted.
4. Frame: Original or period aftermarket frame (e.g: Harris, Spondon, etc.).
Frame bracing permitted, if executed in period and workmanlike
manner. With the exception of Formula 3, Four cylinder restricted to
steel frames in period. (i.e: NO GSXR, FZR).
5. Forks/Shocks: Conventional front forks of period construction
and size. Monoshock and monoshock conversion OK.
6. Bodywork: Aftermarket permitted, period styles and materials only.
7. Brakes: Period brake systems/components only.
8. Wheels: No restrictions.
