Yesterday, I found out I had $400 in contingency with Vanson - $200 per AM championship.

I don't know what EX payout is but if you won an AM or EX championship...Vanson's got something for you!

Way to go Vanson, supporting the local racing community!

There was no parameters around that statement, I had no idea who that included.

I could also be wrong about EX contingecy - in Vanson's own words, "We paid out over $15,000."

My understanding listening to Steve at the banquet was that the certs were for EX and AM championship winners only (again, no love for 2nd placer's à la Jason C.).

Kudos to Vanson stepping up and showing their support ... notwithstanding their apparent dislike for first place losers (like me ).

congrats on your new suit and contingency buddy. as you've noticed, this forum is quite butt-hurt from their experiences on Vanson. That's directly why I went to Heroic when i needed a new suit for 2013. If it all works out for you, then you scored a free suit for being fast

FYI, Pilot pays contingency in the west coast.

My 2012 ROTY suit still sits unworn because it does not fit. Got tired of dealing with them.. I keep it as a trophy now.

They also supported vintage racing this year.

My suit did not fit the first time I received it, which came within a month. Might have been because I ordered it in September. They took in the suit and now it fits like a glove. I asked for some different things too like making the elbow pads my knee pads too because I have smaller, girly knees and they were accommodating.

I know some people have had bad experiences, but mine was ok.

It's definitely huge what they're offering to LRRS and I don't think any of us WANT to look a gift horse in the face & tell it to go pound sand, but... the way I see it, it's like a bribe to try and get people to COME back after all of their epic fuck-ups drove so many people away.

Sucks... I WANNA like em, but there's just so much that's happened in the last 5-10 years that it's really tough for a lot of us to overlook that.
