Because I can't find the new rule book or anything posted, I have a few questions.
First, is the shock doctor helmet removal system required for this year? If so, will someone carry them at the track or do you know of a good vendor where we can get a buy going?
Second, for 93 race gas from the pump, is the designated station remaining the same this year? If so, is their non-ethanol? If it has ethanol in it, will there be a recommended or approved ethanol treatment so that it doesn't gum up my carbs in between rounds?
I would call this number tomorrow (603) 783-4744, have them transfer you to Wanda Dumas and ask her.
My license and rule book have been received yet.
LRRS\CCS\WERA #486
I'll wager the shell station is still the only approved pump gas, and no, no treatments will be allowed. I didn't have any trouble with my GS and pump gas sitting in it between rounds.
Spoke to Wanda today.
The shock doctor helmet thing is not required, but it is recommended.
As for the fuel, I forgot to ask about the ethanol treatment, but she did tell me that we were going to have multiple options compared to last year. I don't want to misquote her so I'll let the details come out with the rule book.
