EX's are MUCH cheaper to race than the SV which is why you'll see me racing one this season. It's also a better learning tool since it's a crappier bike which forces you to ride better... see sig belowOriginally posted by x2468

guess that's why Chad wont ride one... Ugly & Slopy, that's exactly what the EX is, & exactly what Chad's into.... but he doesn't know how to act around something that has two things he doesn't have.... personality & potentialOriginally posted by bentbryan

hey looks look pretty nice. i'd like mine to look like that if at all possible (doesn't have to be as fast but i can look it lol). its sad no one has caught on and made an aftermarket full fairing for the EX.
i saw a new "race ready" SV for sale on the LRRS classifieds and my excitment peaked. 3.5 Gs. i have bout 2 (half of which is 750 euros im waitn to cash in, come on dolla drop). but anyway, just me dreaming. i still haven't found out where im supposed to buy this "experiance" stuff.![]()
u can buy experience? like riding experience? damn, if only I knew
as far as bang for the buck goes, the EX500 is tough to beat.... it's not always pretty, but who cares, you're not lookin at it when you're ridin it
keep your eyes peeled on the WERA board, www.ex500riders.com , craigslist, LRRS classifieds, etc etc. But lemme tell you this... if you find a production twins legal EX500 & buy it before my teammate Darrell does.... you're a dead man![]()

Nice Daviid! Good luck getting it all together. Don't leave it til the last minute...
The EX is a great streetbike actually. I think the new 06 in black looks sharp right off the showroom floor. They have traditionally missed the whole paint scheme by a long margin though. My wife had a purple one, I had a red one, and a serious mongrel that I painted blue and silver with a rattlecan. It's bodywork had been smashed to bits so many times that the owner riveted thin steel sheeting with little holes in it to hold the pieces together. That looked BAD!
Pete, those AND bikes don't qualify as EXs. The Chasis alone cost 6K!

Heres a condom. I figured since youre acting like a dick, you should dress like one too.
You might want to get that bike one of these days or talking about racing will remain just talk.Originally posted by OreoGaborio

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?

yer kiddin me, right? After all the talk, all the effort put into the team, the website, the forum, & the money i've already put towards it or have set aside, you have doubts that i'll be racing in the spring?Originally posted by hessogood

I'm just telling you to go get the bike. You'll soon realize 'team' is just some of the people who you hang out with at the track, and maybe a sticker. You don't want to find out what the bike needs a week before your planned racing.Originally posted by OreoGaborio
