That was a great race. It's too bad about all the drops, but awesome to see Suzuki on the podium again.. and Rossi had some fierce moves.
I think Marquez was saying they just aren't giving any warning before they let go.
Total Spy Hunter action.
I think Rossi just had slightly more pace putting Marquez and Dovi on the limit trying to stay with him.

Just watched it again...amazing synchronized crashing

I replayed it frame-by-frame a few times, and you can actually see Marquez's front tire tuck about .020 seconds before Dovi. Interestingly enough, in the overhead replay, you can see how they were both on an identical line that was about a foot or so wide of Rossi's line.
One of the strangest things I've ever seen though.

Yeah, I typed that before watching any replays, doh! Clearly wasn't a reaction now that I did...
It's interesting to watch all the top riders muzzle themselves about tires that I doubt they are thrilled with

It's interesting to hear the comments of the Michelin tires not giving any warning prior to letting go. This is the same comment that I had heard about Michelin tires about 10 years ago. Phenomenal grip right up to the point that there is none. Seems like racers prefer the really good traction with a predictable slide at the expense of ultimate traction that turns off like a light switch. Understandably so.
Yeah I was gonna say... that sounds familiar.

Wonder how many 10s of millions Michelin is spending to be the tire of motogp, with the result being most attentive fans won't want their motorcycle tires?
OMG crazy last lap. Could not believe that a 1' wheel could cost a win. Truly a photo finish.

GP race was great, too bad for Rossi. The J-Lo MM battle didn't disappoint. Great ride for Iannone despite a terrible start. He definitely wins one or two this year.
I'll check out 2 and 3 as the week goes on!

I thought it was a good race all around. While MM was working on catching JLo we got to see a good bit of Iannone on the charge. He's exciting as hell to watch. I had fun watching Rossi keep trying at JLo until his engine blew. Great race.

Wow. What a great weekend. I chatted with my girlfriend, and I think we may need to take a trip to Mugello next year for the races.
That was probably the first time I have ever wanted Marc to win. Apparently my distaste for Lorenzo goes pretty deep now.
