Good to hear. I wanted to get that too, but then I'd be paying for BeIn just for MotoA coverage and I'm not sure that's worth it (but we'll know soon enough!) If I liked soccer BeIn would be a no-brainer.

I'm not very computer savvy so I haven't done it, but the pro-tip is to fake that your computer is in Europe and then get a Euro-sport membership. Then you get all the cool sports.

It's awesome, I don't share my login with anyone because you can only have one simultaneous session. Can't beat the coverage; no commercials, great camera coverage, and you can see every session. Well worth the ~$115 for the season.

I sure hope so, Ducati needs him. It must have sucked to be Dovi or Iannone this February and have Stoner show up and go faster than you, on your bike. As much as I'd love to see Stoner come back and dominate, I'm doubtful he ever will. Lorenzo is Ducati's best bet for future wins.

I am looking forward to Iannone growing on the Ducati...I'm willing to bet he could take over in a couple more years. Stoner was good on it because he always said hes perfectly confortable having the thing sliding everywhere under him, and thats what Iannone does on it.

This is not true. Paul_E_D and I watch the same login at the same time and don't have a problem. I am sure at some point they will crack down on it, but until then, share share share.

Expensive-ish, but worth it. Best coverage + access to all the race archives back to 1992. I watch on my iPad usually and just wish it had ChromeCast support so I could stream to my TV.

had one last year, it's nice to be able to access 1990's races, like for example 1992 season with Mamola, Gardner, Lawson, Doohan, Chandler, Rainey, Kosinski, Criville, Schwantz, Duhamel, Mackenzie, Barros, Goddard... 1992 was probably the most star-studded year in MotoGP, or is it just my age and I recognize all those name because early 90's is when I really got interested in GP?

Anyway, after Rossi-MM fiasco I cancelled the VideoPass (after the last race it was up for auto-renewal so I just disabled that) because I don't want any of my $$ going to DORNA, also the stream quality during live broadcast always sucks ass, and if I want to watch it later there are always free torrent options.

Better internet speeds make live streaming better. I had a problem when I first bought it then upgrade my speeds to the next level and its really nice. (side note I had the slowest speeds) also $115 is a hell of a lot better than a copy right law suit.

Ive never heard a noise like when we learned it was Rossi that crashed. I was up in turn 1, and we could see the crash, but it took a bit before the tv showed it was Rossi. The groan was incredible.

Fairly certain he's sold his soul. His eyes always look black to me in the interviews.

Regarding Dovi, when I saw Pedro's camera hit him at that angle, I was sure it was going to be a broken femur/pelvis I'm very relieved that there were no injuries today.

Regarding crashes, my wife has been an increasing fan the past few years. She has little technical knowledge and doesn't ride, but asks a lot of questions. I try to explain how breathtaking it is to watch the tightrope these riders tread on such powerful machines, and how close to losing control they ride. The last two races, most pointedly with Rossi today, have really made this clear.

When I saw that camera shot of Dovi getting hit I feared it was going to be a serious injury. Glad it wasn't but sucks he's had 2 bad weeks in a row.

Uhg... Poor Dovi. Feel so bad for the dude. If it weren't for getting taken out in the past two races he'd definitely be in the fight for 2nd place in the championship (c'mon, no one's beating MM). SO glad he wasn't badly hurt. You know he's fuckin sore today, though. Hope he's not too beat up.

And that Rossi crash. I couldn't believe it. That dude's rock fuckin solid! It's been forever since the last time he didn't take a checkered.

Sounds just like my daughter (except she's 8) - she watched the entire race with me and "interrogated" me the entire time haha. She's fascinated by how far these guys lay the bikes down. And the team design choices of course (she's an artist through and through).

Part of it is the new tire characteristics. Part of it is also that Turn 1 at COTA is tricky. It's a hairpin on a hillside at the end of the front straight. So you're charging up the hill, and the inertia of the machine is up, and then you turn sideways to go around and back down. The inertia of the bike therefore unloads the front tire as soon as you begin turning, which makes for a very tricky transition.

B-Stones were known for superior edge grip, Yamaha's and J-Lo's strong point, Michelin has better traction off the corners, which suits Honda and MM, at least that is what I was told

VR went down in T3, and Pedro's T1 crash looked like he had back wheel too far in the air and tried to settle it down over the crest, not your typical front end crash

You'd be surprised how flat it is at turn in ... at least at my speed.
