Yeah, it really seems like the whole thing about Ducati picking Bez over him really put a massive chip on his shoulder that he still hasn't gotten over... and then it's as if going on and winning a championship gave him an entitlement complex. Bad mix.

Definite race of the year for Moto2, just got a chance to watch it last night. Too bad for Canet doing all the hard work to be punted off the podium in the last few turns. Everyone in the top 4 ran a great race, entertaining from lights out to checkers!
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
Speaking of Moto2 what's going on with Joe Roberts? He was in the hunt last year this year not so much, don't know if he's even cracked into the top ten yet in any race.
iirc Ducati chose MM93 over Martin for the factory team. Martin was pissed and signed with Aprilia almost immediately after. And important to note that Espargaro, Martin's best buddy in MotoGP, is now a test rider for Honda. So maybe he's telling Martin that Honda have some amazing things on the way and that's why Martin wants to bale from Aprilia.
I think you meant the Beast (Bastianini) who's gone to waste now at KTM.Ducati picking Bez
100% this is what's happening. So maybe he's telling Martin that Honda have some amazing things on the way and that's why Martin wants to bale from Aprilia.

Moto 2 is a tough class.. The margin is thin..Tattoo is a fast dude and struggles with being at the front all the time..
Makes for some fun racing.

If Dixson has a sponsor to provide money to the team, then what does Trackhouse do say no. Ogura moves to the factory team if Martin leaves so there's an opening or they drop Fernandez(who has done nothing) and bring in Dixon. Don't see it as a bad deal for Trackhouse maybe even take a flyer on Canet.
Order has been reinstalled. Ducati top four, Pecco is in trouble and sinking fast.
Pecco is certainly lost. Marc is winning on the new bike. He is making it look pretty easy. Pecco should at least be ahead of last year's bike on a regular basis. I hope he figures it out. I don't know if he will. I think what we are seeing is how average of a rider he is. I'm reminded of a few years ago before he was on the factory team and pretty much demanded having a factory machine which he got. Also not uncommon. When he got on the factory team he started going on about how there should be performance differences between what the factory team had and what everyone else got. Pretty much saying only the factory team should get the A spec bike.
As for Dixon. I really hope not. I do not like that guy. Just another whiny Brit in racing. F1 is currently plagued with them. I never really paid much attention to him although the commentators talk him up all the time, until the day he almost broke down completely on camera crying about Binder. That had to be one of the most ridiculous things I've seen in racing.
Hoping tomorrow is a good race and not just a demonstration of how fast Marc can go. I wont be able to watch it until later in the afternoon![]()
Back to the parade. MM is the Aragon Master. Alex riding shotgun. Pecco redeems himself somewhat. Best battles were down the field. With Morbidelli and Aldeguer banging bars. Zarco and FQ disappoint. Moto 2 once again was the race of the weekend.
Not the most exciting race to watch. I hope they get more entertaining as the season goes on. It is scary seeing how easy and smooth Marc looks. I;m kind of already looking to next year. I think this is when we will see how good the 24 Ducati was. Last year all the 24s were up front. This year with different riders all the 24s are up front again. What happens to the guys next year when they move to the 25? It doesnt seem like it is as good as the 24. Only anomaly is Marc. Pecco is struggling, Digi is no where this year.
Amazing how dominant Marc is.
Good action in the top 5 for the first half of the race, but did end up a bit snoozy. I ended up fast forwarding the last 4 or 5 laps since I had to board a flight this evening. Hopefully we’ll get some better action when we hit the Central European section in of the calendar.

Toprak joining Pramac Yamaha in 2026

IDK. I don't really see it working out for him being competitive. Yamaha isn't quite there with the bike and I feel like he waited too long to make the move over. I guess best case senerio is he beats the other Yamaha bikes out there or at the very least is battling for top Yamaha and then when the 800s come back in 27 he is on whatever bike hits the ground flying first. THat could really be anyone with such a large rule change.
On a side note. I'm really not looking forward to the change to 800s. Last time the racing was just boring to watch. It was all about corner speed and only a few could do it. Last few years on the 1000s bar this season so far the racing has been spectacular to watch. Hopefully I'm wrong and its still great to watch in 27.
My heart says Jack stays.. He's solid for development. He's great with the media. He starts well and gets TV time.. Miguel has the paper....
He's invivsible largely. Sadly. He's a solid rider but doesn't get the TV time.
I say you give Jack another year then bring in a Hot Shoe in 27. Jack slide back to kangaroo land with his hot wife and sweet pad.

Miguel also tends to get injured, been out for extend time in the last few seasons. Not his fault by any means but not a good trend. Jacks got fourteen races (real long season) to make his case for staying So will see. He is also living the dream his retirement looks sweet.
