Can someone post a picture of this thing? Unless there was a line added sometime after the Boston Moto day, I'm not sure what the issue with it is. Again, I'm under the impression that this mysterious line was added sometime after Wednesday because all other painted lines I saw on Wednesday were fine, IMO.
I definitely remember seeing it Wednesday morning. Last time I was on the track before BoMo was during the labor day vintage race and that morning, someone had used water close to the track in that area and a trickle of water about the same width as that line was running at about that same place. First session out on Wednesday, I see what I think is another trickle of water flowing across 1A and it took me a few laps to realize it was most likely the start/finish line that got added for the Nascar Sunday's Legends race!

Lol, yes degsy. The line was there, although I admit it took a few sessions for me to notice it. Once I did see it, I knew exactly what it was for. I also admit to no traction issues due to this line but I think its a dumb place for it.
The one thing that I did notice though is that the pavement is starting to get tore up from what I can only assume is the cars running on the track (not necessarily the legends cars). It's just outside of the bike line but would be right in line with the outside wheels of a car.
So in a nutshell:
-white line doesn't appear to be slippery but seems poorly placed.
-new pavement in 1a falling apart from cars

Wow. I truly never saw it.
I didn't notice it until second practice on Sunday.
I have yet to have seen the white line

It's just another line that I've crossed

I cross lots of different lines. This I believe is just the most recent or newest line.Quote:

And Daviid, way to start a shit storm about an organization that you say you don't like and the track that you say you hate and never race at... if you have some positive and constructive criticism please share, otherwise, no point in acting like a child.
I think since Penguin is actually the organization that intros the new racers, handles their signups, etc, maybe approaching Penguin about this would make more sense? it would seem they'd be more likely to be able to easily maintain a list of "volunteer mentors," and match them with students who are going to stay after Friday for the weekend.
I don't care which group it goes through I think its a good idea. I know Rambunctious has helped a few people on here on their first weekend. If I decide to race next year this is the kind of thing I'd appreciate also.
brett, you have a home across from the t3 bleachers.
