Judy
He was asking you...I only replied to him because I was there too taking pics, and didn't know he was at the track, missed the chance to say Hi. :)
Re: NESR member LRRS pics from 8/31/2008
i yelled at chuck "hey old guy, down in front, we cant see" when there wasnt any races going on at the time.
There were 3 people sitting down on the 1st row of bleachers that looked up at me. was that you judy or twisties?
Re: NESR member LRRS pics from 8/31/2008
I didn't sit on any bleachers. I went in turn 6, took pics from the barrel, then back to the garage. :) I tried to get pics from other spots on the track but never get any good shots from those.

Definitly...much better than kissing the wall. I'm glad you are OK...sucks for the bike damage, but that is always fixeable. ;)
Chuck, those are nice pics! Can't wait to get myself a better camera like the one you have. :)

Funny that no one that uses a dSLR seems to have the Olympus line. I love my E-500 and the price was awesome. You can get the updated E-Volt E-510 for just over $500 with 2 kit lenses.
I was complaining, Sunday, that I couldn't get really closeup pictures once they started going up the hill in turn 3, so I got the newest lens that Zuiko (Olympus' lens maker) offers, the 70mm-300mm, which is the equivalent to close to 140mm-600mm with a standard 35mm film camera.

So, hopefully, it should do the job I want. I'll have it for the next race weekend and TTD on 9/29 and 9/30.
