Sat morning registration/numbers routine
As long as you're all in "help the clueless newbie" mode:
what's the routine for registration, license application, getting a race number assigned on Saturday morning? I have my certificate from Penguin, do I just bring that and the CCS license application to register?

yes, on 4/15; they had a meeting for anyone that was racing that weekend, told the rest of us we were all set, I should have stayed for the info.
Re: newbie pit help/company this race weekend?
Be at registration either Friday 4pm I think till 630(best) or Saturday morn at 7am....Then take bike to tech with paperwork and helmet with fairing removed. Do your practices.. Grid sheets are posted around midmorning....riders meeting at 11:30. Racing begins shortly after. tech is open friday night and sat .

no warning, well except to Shawn that he's gonna have sticky sheets. He shouldn't have flipped me off while passing me the other day :D

Make sure you stop by the Low Down area (T1a) after racing is done, reiobard (Rob) and I (Keira) would like to say hi, but are away from the pits til dinner. We'll be there Thurs night-Sunday though. Welcome to the family.
Re: newbie pit help/company this race weekend?
I guess I should have called to check, was there at 4pm, but no racer registration until 6pm. Back home to feed the kids, will be back early tomorrow.

I stopped by late this afternoon to pick up a few things, didn't see you guys yet, but you may have been in the garages. I'll be back early in the morning, will try then.

Like you, I'm just starting although Penguin was my first time on the bike AND on the track. I'm just trying to stay of of peoples way and not hurt myself or anyone else. We are also on the bare bones budget end right now and in tents. The great thing is everyone around is always willing to help each other. Looking forward to the weekend, we get in Thursday around 6 PM.
