Here's the video of the crash between mike clark and marcello during the first lap of the AM HWSS race on saturday. Mike is fine. Hope everything is alright with Marcello.

Yup ... lining up the inside pass, door closing, decides nope, stabs brakes, lifts rear a little and the front tucks. Ouch.

That was a very scary crash to see. Coming out of 10, all I saw was dirt, grass, and parts. Hope they're both OK.

Shit! I don't even think about passing there inside.
wow, wondered how hard did he grab the brakes, he must be on stock suspension to lift the rear.
Even at amateur laptimes, most people don't realize how FAST of an entry T11 is. You probably are at/around 85mph before you start trailbraking there, I would guess.
That was pretty scary. Luckily for Mike it looks like he had no idea it was coming, so his body was probably quite relaxed; this reduces the chance of injury.

we had Mike back up and racing on Sunday with a borrow rear set from Jim.
I think Marcelo was suppose to come home yesterday. Jim what's the info? how is he? give him my number and tell him if he needs anything to let me know.

Honestly i cant explain what happened simply because i dont remember anything, even the start because of the grade 3 comcussion. Talked to mike and were in good graces. I have a broken collar bone and a broken ring finger as well on the left side. I cant thank all of you for the support i rceived at the hospital, i dont remember anything at all at the hospital as well. And i cant thank mike enough for staying with me at the track right after we crashed.

looks like he had the room to make it too if he just stayed in it.
i had a similar situation at the same spot in one of the classic races against Nate. it was in the rain. i was further up than marcello was. i was right next to nate, when he moved over on me. i grabbed way more front brake than i thought possible ..especially in the rain. when i got it hauled down i still thought for sure i was gonna clip his rear tire. i dont know how i missed it. definitely the 2nd scariest moment ive had out there.
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

I catapulted my bike 25' in the air people say . Stupid Seam! Joel can attest to that.... That would have been a 1:16 lap. f-er
that is where I separated a shaft from the rear shock faster than PK.
Probably doing more that 85
Glad all are reasonably well.

Yup! Scary watching your buddy tuck the front and then his bike launches itself @25 feet in the air and tries its darndest to land right on top of the guy that was just riding it. That thing was crunched when it came back on the wrecker.
As everyone else has said, glad to hear everyone is relatively OK after this. Scary looking crash.

And now i'll hijack my own thread with my own crash video from the next day. Any ideas on why I crashed? Most I can come up with is that I was still too leaned over when I got on the brakes, but i'd like to hear some other input.

The flying blue block is most impressive! Glad you're OK.
