Don't sweat it, 9. You'll note that I don't have a picture posted to this thread yet. I don't think many people look like Keith (or John, or Gino, or Michael, or Eric or, or, or the list goes on) on their 2nd track day. If you are having fun and learning you're doing OK.

I in no way was trying to make you feel bad 9. If I could find the pictures from my early track days I would love to throw them up. Just the fact that your out there puts you head and shoulders above the majority of "motorcyclists" out there. Keep at it... keep having fun, and in time I think you'll surprise yourself.

I'm not racing like some of these guys, and I'm a slow learner, but if you take the time to practice, you'll improve in time.

That is a great shot! I cant wait for all the AM folks to make it up to the EX ranks. Right now the AM grids are actually quite a bit bigger.

I think the key to the whole body position argument is that it's not so much how you look, it's more important to ride in a way that's comfortable and loose. It happens that people the text book good body position is how many people ride loose. YMMV.
