PS- Mike if you have a normal job now how and the hell do you think you can do some of the WERA races also. Are they starting you off with 4-5 weeks vacation time?

Supermotard, LRRS As for with who, i'm not sure. I know i won't make every race weekend so i won't feel rite being part of a team and not being able to give %100 dedication.

Rumor has it there is ANOTHER new track being built in Stonington Ct? Any truth to this. I saw a clip on the evening news about some combination type (nascar, sportscar) track being built

i don't want to hijack this thread on ya, well, I guess it does go along with this....

I wanted to ask how you guys do things when you're racing. What I mean is, do you folks all meet up together before and after and do people generally go to the race then go home??? I ask because I want to get down there to watch some races this summer but I live in VT and to go down adn then drive back up here would be a PITA and probably limit my going down. How's things working??/?

Most of us go there Friday and camp at the track for the weekend.

There seems to be basically two choices. Either bring a tent and camp out at the track, or bring your party shorts and hang here at the infamous Stone Crib for the weekend and commute to back & forth to/from the track (it's only about 15 minutes). Lots do both, plenty do either. The only catch is, if you hang here you'll most likely be hungover & tired for the entire weekend. Then again, Gerard does MUCH better that way. Seriously. I hate to make us sound like a bunch of boozebags. But every time G-Spot DIDN'T stay here and get tanked with us, he crashed...



'Course, you could try to book a room in Concord. Or on a long shot, you could try to get a room at the 'Ruff' in Loudon...

I live 2 1/2 hours away and I like to camp at the track fop the weekend! Something about waking up AT the track makes for a nice long day at the races! And at the end of the day Saturday, with no drive home it's fire up the grill time and throw some back...

well I don't drink but I do just fine without sleepin so I think that i would have to say that i am in one way or another..... I knew that you were cool with people hangin there by your other posts I just don't know most of you here (only met a couple from the board) and I hate imposing on people. But with a place to stay - I think that I will be happy to join you folks
