Is anyone from this community going?
Looks like I will be returning with a group of awesome people (I will let them name themselves if they want).
Last year was an absolutely blast.
This year I will try to make it just as good for the newcomers as Gino did it for me.
It d be cool to have people we know there and Daytona is an awesome venue to race at.
I personally can't wait to get back there.
Uhhhh so do I book my Flight now? Dates?
Unfortunately sleeping arrangements are no longer available in Deltona. So it may be the hotel life.![]()

It will definitely be hotel life this time
Unless someone's looking to hire a pit wrench, I'll be looking forward to race reports after the event.
I could be convinced to go. Would want to minimize time off work taken though... not sure best way to do that. Like give someone gas money and my stuff and fly myself down, for example...

So how does the travel normally work... you leave tuesday night and trade driving and arrive weds night? Then you practice thurs and fri, race sat and sun, and travel back sunday night through mon night? So 4 days off work? I could swing the 2 for practice maybe, not the 4...

Yes i could fly weds night and sun night resulting in only two days taken off work for the thurs and fri practices... would require people willing to take all my gear and bike down and back for me, for some gas $.
Also, I could telework from various locations, but would require me to be mostly stationary and with WiFi access during business hours and driving in the evenings... i.e. it would take longer to get down and back and whoever I went with would need to be able to do the same... could use hotel points to stay along the way, i've got like 300k marriott points...

All possible options. Last year I took the whole week off. Left Monday night. Arrived Tue afternoon. Chilled. Picked Gino up from the airport. Wednesday set up the garage. Thursday practice. Friday Disney. Weekend WONand drove straight back. Arrived home Monday night. Tuesday at work.
Here's a somewhat hilarious option... would need someone willing to do it with me though.
Spend the weekend before driving down. Telework in the area mon, tues, weds. Practice thurs and fri. Race sat and sun. Telework and chill on the beach the next week. Spend the following weekend driving back. LOL

lol yeah that you are on your own
FYI we have a good gig going right now but if we can help someone else come down I'm open to it.
Brining 3 first timers this year and I'm very excited I'm able to offer back all I learned from Gino last year.
If people are interested in cost feel free to text me.
If you want to do 3 races at least and you gonna use new tires don't expect it to be below $2000
Yeah I've never been down there but it's been a goal of mine. I'm more worried about burning time off work that I don't have, than the cost to race and tires.
Yeah that's what I'd like to do most likely I think. We can share rentals and stuff. Just need someone to take our shit down.

Ok as of right now we have room to bring more bikes with us. People already hitting me up so spots are filling up quick.
Let me know.
Just curious as I'm not going, don't you have to win an LRRS championship and be invited to race the ROC??
99 + 02 SV650 ex-race - 91 FJ1200 street - 03 KDX220R woods - 12 WR450F motard/ice
Negative.
But if you win at the ROC, you're a national champion in that class.
I was talking to Kris Hopkins and he is very keen on going but was a bit overwhelmed on the distance. It would be awesome to see how he would do there after his success this year in lrrs. He isn't on nesr but I think he is on Facebook if anyone wants to shoot him message about this.
